What a bible!
I want to post a short recommendation on amazon for this bible because something of this quality deserves. If you haven't bought a Cambridge Press KJV before, then you are in for a treat. I'm so impressed with the overall quality of these bibles that I now own 4, including a smaller concord that zips up for my rucksack and a goatskin wide margin concord which is also excellent & identical to this one, apart from it's wider margin. The quality of the cover is incredible - high quality double layered goatskin leather for extra strength & durability - along with the old-school binding method whereby pages are hand-stitched together in packets. This will ensure that your bible lasts & lasts & lasts - truly for a lifetime. The typeface is contemporary, crisp & classy - i.e. easy to read - and the two columns are nicely set apart, with the classic cross referencing system in the middle. It also comes with a collection of maps, a bible dictionary & concordance - all useful. While the pages feel a little thinner than my Thompsons chain reference bible, the paper is of an excellent quality & doesn't allow the print on the other side to show through, making for very easy reading. The gilding is of a high quality. This bible feels great in your hands & offers the kind of quality that you would expect for the purchase price. All in all I would highly recommend it.

Most authentic Bible
The old English takes a bit getting used to, but the meaning is so much more authentic compared to newer translations. The Bible to come back too. I can always consult with the NKJV study Bible if I want greater insight.Reviewing the KJV after owning it for more than ten years, it lasted well. In a way disappointed it doesn't look more weathered by now. The printing is clear in mine. The paper thin and strong.I can say my most priced possession. The last thing I'll hold onto.

KJV BIBLE REVIEW
Excellent book on how to live your life and your relationship with God. The KJV does not minimize Jesus Christ as part of the Godhead, by not leaving scriptural passages missing. By doing this the full divinity of Jesus Christ is revealed in the new testament.

good overall quality
The cover is a bit stiff. At the beginning it is difficult to open flat, but with a bit of use it gets more supple. The ribbon markers are a bit cheap. But if you don't need the concordance, the references, etc, check the Large-print edition in french morocco. I have both and prefer the latter one. The text has a bigger font size; the ribbon markers are longer and better; and the binding has a much better quality, and it opens and stay flat easier. The best thing is: it is cheaper also.

Poor quality printing
I have to confess to being extremely disappointed by my extremely expensive goatskin leather KJV from Cambridge. The binding is sufficiently impressive and the leather is sumptuous, but the quality of the print is terrible. Sections of Psalms, Proverbs and Jeremiah are so faint and washed out that I have to strain my eyes to read them, while much of the NT is bold, vibrant and clear.
