I ordered this charger to replace an older one from PowerA (that product was always a bit temperamental with the controller placement and sometimes failed to charge). The PDP charger is super easy to put together and plugs into the Xbox USB-A port (although the charger has a USB-C port, the manual specifically advises against connecting the cable We have Xbox Series X and Xbox One controllers and it includes battery covers for both types (we used for the Series X controllers). Honestly, I'm not really interested in the RGB lighting, I'm more concerned about reliably charging every time and it has done that well. The RGB lighting is cool, but it has no relevance to the charging process. The 2 small LEDs to the left and right of the controller icon are the charging indicators.

Pretty lights. The bottom tier seems to constantly charge so I don't think that's good for the controller.
