Very informative and well written!
Who would have thought that there are so many different creation stories of Ganesh. Very well written and a very interesting read. The different creation stories do tell in what area or realm it was created.

so I am not easily impressed, these stories are well researched and treated ...
Only browsed through it so far and already impressed. Studying comparative religion, anthropology and mythology has been a hobby for almost 40 years, so I am not easily impressed, these stories are well researched and treated with the respect they deserve.

Lightly but Enlighteningly Written—99 Interesting Thoughts About Ganesha
Bought as a gift for a friend who is mad about Ganesha. She liked it a lot and told me, surprisingly, that there was much in it that she hadn't known. Lightly but enlighteningly written.

Superb starting point on a complex subject
When I decided I wanted to know more about Ganesha, I bought several books on the subject. This was the only one that did what it claimed to do, providing me with the background knowledge I was looking for in a well-ordered and enjoyable way.

Really good book on Ganesha
As usual Devdutt has written a really good book on Ganesh. His artistry and drawings are brilliant. I have read quite a few unfair comments on Devdutt which I feel is most disappointing. I am just a novice in this area and he has been a really great teacher. I hope that he continues his writing on this subject and look forward to once again reading another of his great books.

Typical Devdutt Pattnaik
Sweet book, with short anecdotes about Lord Ganesha. An easy read but not very in-depth
