Happy with this purchase.
Very nice BBQ. The sides hand slight dents, but not bad enough to return. We have been using it, and works great. Simple, we didn't need a side burner, more for fish, hot dogs, Hamburgers. Perfect. Very nice quality. Heats up fast. Perfect for our needs.

Know this of the Spirit E310, but good overall.
We have had Weber grills about every 10 years though we bought a Monument grill last time and replaced nearly every part, sometimes twice, during its 5 year lifetime. Won't do that again. I like the quality of Weber grills. This Spirit E310 has 3 burners and works great for two people - works OK for four, with a little finesse. Their new starting system (push each knob in, then turn to hi and release) is excellent and requires no batteries. Some negatives - mine came without the bag of 3 screws that hold the front on so all that excitement was tempered for over a week. They overnighted the screws but sent only 2 - argh. They have an odd system where they don't start the overnight process until a few days have elapsed. The other problem is the cooking grate spaces are 9/16" typically but between the two grate sections, there is a 3/4" gap that cannot be reduced so narrow things like breakfast sausages fall right through to their demise. Don't know what they were thinking during the design review process. I like that low really is low so you can leave it on and not worry about burning the bottom of the food above. As a structural engineer for 39 years, I was concerned about overtipping of the whole unit when it's windy. They left no provision to alleviate that, short of making your own hole through the bottom plate to secure the grill to the deck. Finally, the Warranty states that it lapses if there are problems with any parts due to "exposure to salt air". That seems to void the expected warranty for a lot of folks who haven't read the fine print. Hope Weber was not serious. Except for those caveats, I was pleased with their new design. 4.6 stars

Nice grille, but some subtle changes
Finally had to order a new Weber grille to replace an 15+ year old Weber that has had several parts replaced (under Weber's warranty). Prompt delivery, well packaged, but a few disappointing changes. The assembly instructions consist of pictures only, which worked for the most part. Took about 45-60 minutes to assemble. Only confusing issue was the attachment of the side shelves, which I thought were supposed to be able to fold down. Seems Weber has eliminated this feature on most of their newer grilles. With the small patio we have, this would have been a nice feature to continue to have, like I do on my old unit. The E-310 comes with only 2 wheels which are plastic. Not a big deal for me, since the grille will be staying in one place. Also, the control knobs are a plain gray plastic. Rather cheap looking for a $450 price point.Have not tried it yet (too much rain), and am wondering about the reliability of the new ignition system. May review that feature later after a few uses. Overall been pleased with the quality of Weber grilles, and hope to get many years of service out of this new one.

Nice BBQ and great Amazon customer service
This BBQ works great and was easy to assemble on my own. Extra kudos to Amazon customer service. The box arrived with a dent (and a part of the product was dented, and Amazon made it easy to return and replaced the unit.

Well made but must assemble.
Well made. Be sure to measure the size grilling area that you want in a new grill. This one has a smaller grill area than our old one had, but the cooking area is still fine for our needs.

Great
Well constructed. Assembly instructions are pictographs so it is easy to assemble some parts backwards,

Lacking in Quality
The media could not be loaded. I had a Weber Spirit grill for 15 years, the only issue I had was the ignitor going out on me. It was time to replace it so I purchased this Weber Spirit. Product arrived on time and it was fairly easy to put together. The issue is the quality just isn't the same. My old Spirit was all metal, this grill has several plastic components, including the front control panel. Further, my old grill had 2 double walled doors to access the propane tank (it was only a 2 burner grill), this unit (3 burner) had a single door this is pretty thin. The older unit also has a full metal back, this unit has an open back leaving it open to the elements and critters getting into it. The most frustrating thing is in the video, the back of the lid arrived poorly manufactured and makes a clanging noise when opening and closing, this was not something I assembled, it arrived this way, the thin metal at the back looks like it is bent or was forced into place causing it to bow. Unfortunately, pieces were missing when I first was assembling it, Weber customer service sent them within 5 days, but it caused delay in fully assembling the unit or I would return it (I have now missed the return window). It is a shame because I was so happy with my old Weber and it looks like the quality has severely diminished in the past 15 years. My suggestion is to stay away from this model and maybe Weber in general.
