I bought this in hope that it will help my husband with the bulging disc issue which cause his back pain. It did not help his symptoms at all. I have done my research and it says “lumbar traction is effective in improving symptoms and clinical findings in patients with lumbar disc herniation and also decreasing the size of the herniated disc material as measured by CT”. I really think that the more professional traction devices will help my husband’s symptoms or he does need to go see the professional

I have two herniated discs in my lower back and have been riddled with pain for years. I am only 33 and unsure about surgery. Using this product is my only relief. It works almost instantly to relieve the pain. I know my back will always be my back and this won't repair structural damage, but I hope with extended use I can reduce my overall pain.

It was way smaller than the description said it would be. My father’s waste was a 36 and even though the size I ordered was supposed to fit up to 38” waist, it was way too small for him.

I had no idea devices like this even exist. After an ill-fated crossfit workout, I strained my QL muscle. Every morning, I had that one second of electrical pulses surging through my lower back and it was stiff and painful. I started wearing this device around the house, especially while using my stand-up desk. Of course, I am not sure of how much credit I can give to this device but damn did I feel better. I could read. I could cook. I could hang out with my family. And two weeks later, I no longer use it and am almost back to form. This is a an easy-to-use therapeutic device to add to physical therapy visits and functional mobility exercises.

I got this for my husband who has sciatica. He said that once he has this on it almost completely takes away his sciatica pain. He can't believe it works. It's like it's simply to good to be true. He's tried so many things to relieve the pain & so far this is the only thing that has helped. It's rather bulky so he hasn't tried wearing it to work yet. You wear it for a few hours, leave it off for a few hours, repeat. Kind of like putting ice on an injury.The one thing that I noticed, but didn't say anything to my husband, was that the size of this was pushed to it's limits. What I mean is, my husband has extra weight on him. Not obese, but heavy. It has a cord on it to adjust for larger sized folks. He had to utilize this cord. I'm not sure how much cord it has & I didn't really want to say anything about it. I'm not sure if this will work if you are rather heavy. Please note, I said I'm not sure. Read all the info. you can first to see if you think it will work for you (thankfully amazon is great with returns). The last thing I want to do is have someone suffering in pain not get this because I accidentally misdirected them.Anyway, I'm so glad that my husband found something to offer him relief. I ordered a smaller type of brace that is supposed to help. I'm hoping it will offer the same amount of relief, but be something he can wear at work without being so self conscious about it.

I have on several occasions strained my back to the point that I needed a cane to help walk for awhile until it healed. I haven't done it in a while but thought having this brace would be nice in case it happens again. I tried this brace on and by adjusting it as directed, it did feel good and seems it would be good for a sore back. I guess I will have to update this review if and when I re-pull my back but for now the brace seems very well constructed and meant for business.

Recently due to health issues, I have been experiencing back pain and the Air Traction Belt (YQA-5) uses air pocket technology to expand the system and help in pain relief by reducing pressure with the vertebrae.While the instructions are a bit difficult to read, fortunately there are photos in the instructions.Pumping is also simple, as it automatically locks and seals and you can start pumping.It's easy to use but there is something I have to say...Size Medium is supposedly going to cover up to 38-inch, while in practice one who wears a pant size could be 34 or 36 inches for their waste, if you have a belly, you are not going to get the belt around you.While the left size can be adjusted, the right side can only reach so far. Sure, there is a ring pull that well help get the velcro and the belt connected, you are not going to get both sides of the belt equally balanced if you have a larger belly. So, keep this in mind if you have a bigger belly but smaller waist.Overall, the unit does work very well, it does provide comfort, it's easy to pump. But if you have a waist with flatter stomach, this will work great. Small waist with bigger stomach, it's not going to work effectively.
