Not very easy for beginners
These are more difficult for my students right out of the box. I have not figured out why these are unruly flyers yet. I just know that the other types I bought are much easier to navigate. By the time you think you are starting to get it to fly in some version of where you intend, it's time to recharge. This just makes these a bit more frustrating, but I'm sure they will be fine in time.

Fun for all ages
I actually have not used this one I bought it for my grandson's after they played with one I bought myself thinking if it lasted a week it would have been about average these days. I've had mine for months now and every body that has flown it has had a blast we have crashed into just about everything and no damage to the drone and more importantly the stuff we crash into. I love this little guy and enjoy flying it as much as my much-much more expensive drone from a different catagory. I am 60 and must confess I bought the first one to crash it because it was advertised as crash proof and as far as I can tell it is. Update: I purchased a second one for my 86yr old father this one I have flown and as an adult of course it's more difficult than for my 9yr old grandson but my dad and I are getting the hang of it. My earlier version was easier to fly. But they are fun.

So much fun for a beginner
This definitely takes time and my hat goes to professional drone pilots. It was originally purchased for our kids but it is too difficult for them, so my husband and I have taken this new hobby. I know this is suppose to be used outdoors, but we use it indoors because it lifts up very very quickly. Thankfully the silicone cover around it is very helpful and has not damaged any of our walls and furniture. The controller is small and has many buttons and it is taking some getting used to( to be honest I don't see what they do). The manual is helpful and the case is very necessary. We are able to keep everything in one place. If anyone is new to this, I highly recommend they take this to a very very open space or indoor. Read the reviews...it can easily lift off and get lost. Practice before taking it outside.

Up, up, and away...
...is exactly what happened when I launched this drone for its maiden voyage! I made certain to read the manual carefully before firing up this thing! Imagine my surprise when I tried to engage the 'Auto Return' feature only to see the drone weave toward me, then shoot straight up, skyward, never to be seen again! I could've saved myself the shipping wait time and simply made a $20 dollar bill into a paper airplane and sent it sailing into the wind...the end result would've ultimately been the same!

Good Indoor Drone for Beginners
This is the first drone I've ever flown, and my experience with it has been good. It flies well enough for me, and so far it does everything it's supposed to. It also seems to handle indoor use well. I've crashed it a lot and it has taken the beating in stride.I did have a fairly major problem with the unit: the pin in the charging jack eventually broke, so I could no longer charge the drone. However, my single digit aged nephews were also using (or at least trying to use) the drone and very likely weren't careful when the were charging it. Anyhow, the unit was good enough for the price that I bought another one to replace it.I would recommend this to a friend looking to get a fun indoor drone to mess around with, but be careful when plugging in the charger.

Super short battery life and constant drift
UPDATE: I reached out to the seller with my issue and they confirmed my unit was defective and promptly sent out a replacement which now works as advertised. I am very happy with the great service and communication by the seller.I don't know if I just got a bad unit but this drone will not fly for more than 2 minutes. And during that flight time there is a constant drift to the left that makes moving it to the right near impossible even with trim correction. I've ensured proper charging procedure (not charging overnight) and checked to make sure the motor pins that hold the propellers are clean. But unfortunately the drone continues to operate defectively. Disappointed.
