The Speed Whoosh works 2 ways: 1)  It increases club head speed, resulting in more distance & 2) The proprietary Magnetic Timing Ball improves timing.  The Speed Whoosh is a revolutionary club head speed accelerator that activates the fast twitch muscle fibers to swing the club 7-10 mph faster after only 6 swings!  This is an increase of 21-30 yards in carry distance!       The Magnetic Timing Ball slides down the shaft to perfect your timing and eliminates the tendency most golfers have to cast the club from the top.  The Speed Whoosh will increase your club head speed instantly and give you the sense of the perfect release every time.

Use it or lose it ......
Like any golf swing training aid, if you don't use the SpeedWhoosh, then it won't do a thing for you. This is the third SpeedWhoosh that I have had. The first one (years ago) broke over time. The myriad impacts from me using it like a fiend, finally caused the sliding ball to break and, ultimately, disintegrate. I called Momentus to make them aware of that failure, and they replaced the device, free of charge. And, I had had that one for a while; it lasted plenty long. So, today, my son (13) and I use the SpeedWhoosh, and it met the same demise; BUT, again, we swung that thing a LOT between the two of us. So, this time, I decided to just buy another one through Amazon. There are some slight differences to the 'new' model. The training grip handle is noticeably smaller (length, and circumference), but not too small for my hands. The other difference / modification may just solve the 'breaking ball' issue. On the new model, there is a rubber ring at the tip which serves as a cushion between the metal end and the sliding ball. Hopefully, that will prevent the ball from breaking. If you are a golfer and want to get better at the game, the SpeedWhoosh can help you. Check out the videos on YouTube and the Momentus website. Use as prescribed. But, most importantly, SWING THE DANG THING!!!! It's not going to do you a bit of good leaning up against the wall in your garage. USE IT. I would recommend using the SpeedWhoosh AND a heavier or more resistant device such as the Swing Power Fan, or the Momentus Power Hitter driver, or the Momentus Swing Trainer (the yellow one that's not made to hit balls). Other than that, if you want to get better at golf, find a good instructor and take the plunge. The better you swing the club, the more the SpeedWhoosh and other trainers will help you improve.

... I have an older one that is a much better product. As soon as I took it out ...
Not sure if this is a genuine Momentus product as I have an older one that is a much better product. As soon as I took it out of the box i noticed the grip was different(shorter) than my older one, not my preference but not terrible. The deal breaker was on the first swing the magnet didn't hold the ball. Tried a few more times with the same result when transitioning at the top the ball dislodged. Upon further inspection of the trainer I notice a rubber washer between the ball and magnet(not removable it's the only thing keeping the magnet from sliding down the shaft. Not impressed with this specific trainer. Maybe I just got a bad one?? Either way I couldn't return it any quicker, very disappointed. Hope I can find an original somewhere. You Need to Swing Your Regular Club Same Number of Times to Get Coordination Back Before First Tee
Please note. When I swung it for the first time 8 times, then I tried to hit some practice balls, I could not hit any balls. My club kept going over the ball and when I did hit them they were just grounders. What I found out after practicing with it for a few days was that I had to swing my regular club at least the same amount of times after swinging the practice club and concentrating on hitting the ground with my club and the rear of the ball. I have played two 18-hole rounds since purchasing the practice club and I AM driving the ball further to my surprise. I am a golfer who has always needed to hit a dozen or so balls before the actual round to get loose. I have used the practice club before hitting the practice balls and then took the same number of swings with my regular club, then hit some practice balls and it seems to help my distance. I have not just gone to the first tee and swung the practice club. If I need to, I will make sure to swing the regular club at least the same amount of times to get my coordination back. I am a bogie golfer (85-91) and am 67 years old. It is a luxury item so buy it only if you can afford it.

frustrating
I was really looking forward to using the product when I received it. I open the box and it was the baseball version. I returned it and received the new one and it was the baseball version again. Wanted to order again and get the right golf club version, but it wasn't available. Super frustrating.

For tiny hands, gimmicky
I was hoping for a combo of the speedstick/swingrite and orange whip. But it's much lighter than a whip and the flexing of the shaft is so whippy the release ball is inconsistent. The training grip is for small hands. If you wear men's large glove or bigger, skip it.

and this is the best idea I have seen to address swing speed and ...
I am a 2 handicapper that has been dealing with loss of distance since my late 40's (I am now 52). This swing trainer has given me the feedback that has allowed me to make my swing more efficient, which has resulted in a solid 5-7 MPH increase in my driver speed (15-20 yards of distance). My 250-260 yard drives are now going 270-280 yards. I am hitting all clubs more solid and longer since using this product. You need to watch the company's video on YouTube, and let the 'whoosh' guide your swing mechanics. I have purchased many trainers in the past, and this is the best idea I have seen to address swing speed and release of the club head.

YouTube has good video with three expercises
The proof will be this spring :-) Working on swing in garage due to cold weather. YouTube has good video with three expercises; left hand only, ball down with full swing back and forth and ball up then golf swing.

Use this as a basis...
I would use this device combined with a few other. Definitely swing this at least a dozen times a day to make sure you hear the "swoosh" sound at the correct point. Consider combining this with something that makes you faster and stronger off the tee.

good for practice but didn't speed up my swing
It seems in the adverts to be great for timing but so far i am disappointed with the magnet part as I find it hard to hear the difference between a well timed swing and one not so. The DVD instruction needs to be more specific

Good training aid!
Good training aid, especially with the moulded training grip - a nice extra compared to competitive products. Best advice, watch the YouTube video by the founder - 3 great drills, especially as warm up before a round, or in a snow bound house...

Speed Whoosh
Got it on time, used it but not sure how much it is going to help. takes a lot of discipline to use this every day to get some benefit out of it.

A good Swing aid
I use this as a good swing aid and it does help to increase swing speed. would like to be able to increase magnetic strength so a fastwer swing can be developed. as swing becomes more efficient.
