What a fabulous set this is! It really is a Boxed Set of the highest order and one to treasure. Wonderfully packaged and put together. The large LP sized box contains historical notes, documents and scores of Richard Strauss and also a superb full sized booklet, lavishly illustrated with rare photos, on the Strauss family and all the operas. The DVD's themselves are the very best versions of the operas, hand picked by the Strauss family. For all Richard Strauss fans this is an absolute must and for all opera lovers, indeed music lovers of all types, this is a rare treat. Worth every penny and puts many of the other opera collections to shame. A stunning collection and highly, highly recommended.
