Sturdy wicks
I bought these not really knowing what I wanted, just having an idea. I melted down a bunch of old candles and wanted to repour them as new candles. So I figured these wicks would work. The wicks themselves are quite thick and lightly waxed so they stand up fairly well once they’re glued into the bottom of a candle jar/holder. They do lean quite precipitously, but a little ingenuity and propping up resolves that issue. I’ve burned only 1 of my re-poured candles, but it is burning just as well as the original candles did.

Slight odd smell but otherwise great
I really like these wicks and I think they are a great value for the price. The only problem I had (and it's really minor) is the wax that's already on the wicks smell pretty bad to me. It may not smell that bad to most but to me it reminds me surprisingly like some things I've come across doing taxidermy (I'll leave out the details, but just know it's not lovely). However, I haven't noticed my candles having any odd smell once I am burning them so it's not a real issue. Just maybe don't take a deep whiff of the bag of wicks haha.

Great wicks
Good value wicks. They provide nice and slow burn and don't flicker excessively. I tested these wicks with 2.75" diameter jars and they work as described. One thing I would suggest is to have these wicks primed with higher melt point wax coating. When I poured wax at 160-170 degrees, I noticed the wicks lose their rigidity and strength, hence I had to use wick bar to stand it up straight. Other than that, these wicks are great and I would purchase again if the wicks are primed with higher melt point wax.

These are 2mm thick. I did not receive the dye.
The addition of dye is why I chose this over the dozens of other 100-packs of wicks in the 5USD range. The wicks seem a little thin (2mm) for a 2-3" candle as stated in the description. In a 2.2" candle, I got tunneling no matter the wick length. I used soy wax 444, a moderate amount of fragrance oil, and a variety of wick lengths. I will try two wicks.

Worked great
These worked well in container candles I made. They came with holder to hold top of wick in place. This just sits on top of container so be careful not to bump it. I did and it fell in. No big deal just something to be aware of. They burned nicely also. I love these wicks and wil buy them again.

Just what I needed!
Now I just need to buy about a million more wick holders. I would recommend listening to the manufacturer's advice, and fill your candle containers about halfway, and allow to cool before filling the remainder. You'll make it much easier on yourself this way. :)

"Wick-edly" Good Purchase
Excellent product with very high quality. I have made 6 candles since receiving the wicks and have been very pleased with their quality, price value and the prompt shipping. I also appreciate that the company follow-up with the transaction. Good folks to do business with and I highly recommend them to you.
