Good did everything well very good product

I bought this item to hard wire in a RedTiger dashcam, the wiring part is relatively straightforward but there was a break in the cable somewhere between the voltage block and the USB C port, so I would say that the cable is not up to standard and was broken. Update: The seller contacted me following this review and provided a refund, so customer service is very good. I got the OBD cable which worked great.

A great dash can and came with rear view camera as well. Had someone to fit it in and no problems so far.

Sadly, this product was not compatible with my car. As the auto electrician tried to wire it up and opened all the packaging I was unable to return it. Used in a compatible car I'm sure the product would be ok.

This Dashcam Hardware(HW) kit has a USB-C connector and worked with my Redtiger F7N Touch. One BIG plus is that the dashcam starts up much quicker. With the standard ACC adapter, the F7N takes an excruciating 21 seconds to start recording. I can be well on the road by then. With the HW kit, the dashcam switches from parking mode to recording in a second or two. It also displays the voltage of the battery and the cutoff voltage. I stuck it to my dash so I can see these voltages easily, but you can easily put it near your fuse box if you want it out of sight. The kit comes with a bunch of 'Fuse Taps' so you can find B+ and ACC power. I had to use a voltmeter to find the active side of the fuse after removing the fuse because the power side was not always on the 'top.' I cracked the case open and I did not see any red-flags with the the electronics - it looks well built. Below are the connections from the Regulator to the USB-C pins. This is important because the dashcam needs to get constant power for its time-lapse parking monitor mode and needs to know when the car is started (ACC goes active) to start live recording, and these signals need to be on the correct pins. Below are the connections from the HW kit wires to the USB-C conector. Red Tiger HW kit USB-C Pinout Black wire: USB-C pins B1,B12 A1,A12 (All GND pins) Yellow wire: Battery+ USB-C pins A4,A9 & B4,B9 (All VBUS pins) Red wire: Switched Acc USB-C pins A5,A8 & B5,B8 (cc1,sbu1,cc2,sbu2) The F7N seems satisfied with receiving the ACC signal on just the cc1/cc2 pins, and this seems to be a dashcam 'standard' if you can call it that. This was verified by using a generic HW kit that did not have connections to sbu1, sbu2. The battery protection cutoff voltage is adjustable with 3 cutoff voltage choices and a digital voltage display, which can be nice to monitor your battery condition. The only issue I have with this HW kit is that sometimes the display does not light up, making me think it is not working. When I start the car, my dashcam starts up but the display does not illuminate with ACC. If I move the voltage cutoff switch, then the display lights up, displays the new cutoff voltage, then it displays ACC. So a minor 'glitch' in the display, but overall it seems to work.

Acessório muito útil em conjunto com a câmera. Assim dá para ativar o Sensor G e quando o carro está parado trancado activa o modo parque . E se o veículo oscilar por alguma coisa começa a gravar.

Fonctionne parfaitement, le mode parking est bien reconnu. Si vous avez besoin de filmer en continue moteur éteint, connecter le fils jaune et rouge ensemble sinon ça sera en mode timelapse.
