The Life of Christ (The Smart Guide to the Bible Series)

We have used several books in this series as bible studies and the group loves the lay out and all the extra information given in the text.

I have long wondered how to really get a feel for Jesus' life. Then I found this book (one of a series of explaining the Bible) and it kept me very intrigued. It explained so much in laymens terms and give me a much broader understanding of his life, death, and return before he ascended into Heaven with God. I plan to to carry on with the rest of this series of books. Very well written.

I am half way through this study guide. I am very pleased with it. This study takes you through the life of Christ using Scripture from all four Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The book is laid out in such a way that you are able to learn through the commentary in the book, through the printed Scriptures; as well as, through the insight and quotes from various outside Christian leaders. There are also additional Scriptural references that you can read to further your study. In other words, your study can be shallow or deep. Either way you will find yourself growing in your knowledge of God and His Word.I have also studied the books of Revelation and Daniel in this series. In those two studies, each verse is printed in the study guide and then discussed, but in this Life of Christ book all four Gospels are covered, so only selected verses are quoted with reference to the other Gospels. Very good series of Bible studies!

This is a great series. So easy to use and understand. This book helps you get close and personal with Jesus. I learned more about the life and death of Jesus as I read and studied with this book I have most of the series and use them with each Bible Study. Highly recommend them all.

This whole series of Bible commentaries is just great! I have completely enjoyed them and they have helped me to understand more about the Bible.

This is a great resource to help you to really get to know Christmas Jesus, and if you know Christ you know the Almighty GOD. A lot of good accurate information. I am happy with what I have learned. Good book for everyone.many thanks.

This book has met all my expectation and more. I feel everyone wanting to learn more about Christ, should get this book. I am really thinking about getting the whole series of The Smart Guide to the Bible, right now I have 2 of the books. So it's 5 Stars for me!!!!!!!!!
