Nice long burning wax pellets
These beeswax pellets are fantastic for DIY projects! I’ve been using them for candle-making, and they melt beautifully without any clumps. They’re 100% organic, and I love the light honey scent they add to my candles. They also work well for making lip balms and other skincare products. It’s a great value for the amount you get, and the quality is also good, creating long burning candles which is a plus. The candles I made burned for just about 18 hours. Good amount for the price, I would definitely buy these again for my DIY candle projects.

Good for Beginners, But Could Be Better for the Price
I purchased the VIPwax Yellow Beeswax Pellets for a small candle-making project, and while the product is functional, I have mixed feelings about it.The good: the pellets are convenient to use and melt evenly. I liked the faint sweet scent of the wax—it added a natural touch to my candles without overpowering the fragrance I added. The bright yellow color is vibrant and makes for a beautiful candle finish, especially in decorative molds. The not-so-good: the bag size is smaller than I expected, and I barely had enough wax to fill one 8-ounce candle tin. At this price point, I feel like the quantity should be larger. Also, the color seems more like a dye than a natural beeswax hue, which was a bit disappointing. Lastly, the wax didn’t take my dye very well, staying mostly yellow even after adding color.Overall, this wax is a good choice for beginners or small-scale projects, but the price and color quality leave room for improvement. I’d consider buying again for quick projects, but I’ll explore other options for larger or more intricate work.

Easy to Use, Good Product
I ordered the VIPwax beeswax pellets because I wanted to try incorporating beeswax into my DIY body butter as I have heard that beeswax has several positive attributes that would improve what I am making. I chose this packet because it is advertised as quadruple-filtered and very pure, and it is a small amount to try as a new ingredient. I am happy to report that the white pellets add no color or odor, melt easily and are very easy to measure in a tablespoon. Definitely would buy this again!

Made amazing balm
I used this to make some balm with herbs from my garden and tallow from our first cow. It worked out amazingly well.My hands haven't been this smooth since childhood and my 3-year-old asks for it on his eczema which is quickly disappearing! It melted well in a double boiler, and I was able to mix the scents and oils in very easily. This was the perfect thickener for the batch of flowers and oils I had previously put together. This little bit goes a LONG way. It made enough to last us at least a couple years.

Enough for a 8 ounce candle with A Little to Spare
I got this to supplement a candle making kit I received and to help fill a set of 8 ounce candle tins. My math said this was enough to fill one 8 ounce tin and reality was it filled a little more than 1. The yellow color looks dyed to me and not a natural beeswax color but it otherwise seems legit. It was a little harder to melt than the beeswax that came with the kit but not terribly otherwise it preformed similarly. I used it with rose essential oil and a pink wax color that came with my kit. The wax didn’t take the pink well and remained mostly yellow. The rose essential oil took well to the wax.

Lots of Uses for This Purified Product
Not all waxes are created equal. According to the product description, this organic beeswax is pure enough for use in a variety of cosmetic and soap-making applications. Beeswax can be used for coating sewing and beading threads but some crafters now prefer synthetic substances, especially if high heat or bugs are a concern. Candles made from wax instead of soy don't necessarily have to be pure beeswax--sometimes ingredients including paraffin or stearic acid can be helpful in certain applications or make these items more economical. In a similar fashion some crafters prefer adding paraffin for batik on fabric. But for my preferred use--batik on eggs (pysanky), 100% beeswax is essential. Other waxes simply won't stick to eggshells which means they can't block the dye from select design areas. Additional uses include leatherworking and encaustic painting (for which damar resin is the usual additive). This wax comes in a pellet form which is quite handy if you're measuring out exact quantities. You'd want to melt a small quantity to make a wax cake, especially for thread or leather. But for egg decorating this form is ideal as the individual pellets are precisely the right size for the tiny reservoirs on the kistky (wax writing tools--manual or electric) used for this craft.Note: beeswax is microwaveable (in short bursts with great care) but direct contact with heated elements is more efficient as wax can melt in seconds.

Exactly as advertised!
I am pleased with this purchase, the bees wax pellets appear to be top quality. I make a lot of diy lip balm and rubs, so this is perfect for my crafting. There are no flecks of anything else in the bag, which is sometimes the case with other brands. I look forward to using this brand again and again. Well done.

great for crafts
This wax is really nice for all sorts of crafts, and I love how it smells. It blends into lotions nicely, but it also works well for sealing bottles, and for making candles. All around a great product. I'm so pleased with it, and I plan to get more.
