Worked first time and customer service is terribleUpdate: contacted customer service explained the issue they happily sent me a replacement, excited to give it another try when my first one worked the one and only time it was awesome so I hope this one will be the one. If so it will be the best one I have used I like the different temps range sections on the probe.

Great product with excellent customer service and support. The unit works flawlessly without any problems. Easy to set up with their app on your phone. For the price you can mot go wrong! Highly recommend it.

Based on my exceptional experience with their customer service team. I can recommend this prove. Thanks so much Typhur.The probe is very inaccurate. I ruined a chicken and a cowboy ribeye because they overcooked by a wide margin of about 40 degrees thanks to this probe. I've reluctantly banished it to the bin of failed electronic purchases from Amazon because it's just not accurate. To give the reader an idea of how far off it is, it told me that my steak was cooked to 130 degrees. When I probed it with two other thermometers they came up with 170 degrees. A chicken also came in about 40 degrees above the reported temperature. The unit just isn't accurate.

I've tried every brand of wireless thermometer for grilling and this is the best one. All the others either lose connection or they die before brisket finishes on the smoker for example. Meater, meater plus, meater pro, all lost connection. Tempspike battery died and lost connection.

I wish I could get back all the money I wasted on those dial type inaccurate thermometers. This Typhur thermometer is so superior over all the rest. So easy use, why even I can use it. There's no guessing when our New Yorks are done. And being on the carnivor diet we want those pricey NY's just right.
