You need to lock them in place, or they move due to thermal contraction. If connected end to end....
The 4' units work great EXCEPT, when used in a heated garage, when the garage cools in the night hours, these lights if connected end to end wil contract from the cool temps and disconnect. So, I have too push them together again to make connection. Going to put locking blocks on each end to keep them in position.Other than the thermal contraction problem, these lights work great and are plenty bright.
