Fantasy comic book violence
Comic bookGet out the popcorn and watch Hit Girl take on the underworld gangs. Gratuitous fun. If you liked the movies, this is more of the same. Can be addictive.

I really enjoyed Hit-Girl Vol. 1
I think the only thing I had a problem with, in this comic, was the art style. Not exactly my kind of thing, but im sure there are others who might like it. I just thought the art didn't really fit with who we are all used to Hit-Girl being. Not saying its bad to not branch out and find out what you like, but Hit-Girl came off like a maniacal, war-crazed imp or something to me, instead of being more subtle on her facial expressions. Made me really miss John Romita Jr's artwork.Other than that, the story was awesome! Mark Millar writes a great start to his Hit-Girl series! I just hope the other authors can do it justice (forever). That being said, I'm very excited to start Hit-Girl in Canada to continue her adventures.

Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, Action, Mark Millar
Really liked this comic, loved the action and the carnage! Would definitely recommend for those who enjoy action orientated comics . Comic arrived in a neat and organized manner.

Very Disappointing
The story was good but I really can't stand the new art work it nothing like the original kick ass and hit-girl books was looking forward to volumes 2 & 3 of this series but probably won't buy them now with this new art style I would reccomend the new kick ass series though great story and great artwork as well

Snarky assassin/superhero
I was initially unsure how much I might enjoy Hit-Girl in Colombia but I was very pleasantly surprised. While I don't mind lots of blood and violence that isn't a particular draw for me. I like stories and characters, and if violence is part of it, okay. The character of Hit-Girl is wonderful. Not particularly deep (though she has a couple of profound comments) but very much a fun personality as long as you aren't a target. She is snarky and seems to fluctuate between a typical 12 year old and a middle-age business person. The story is both over-the-top and very basic, but in a fun and engaging way. The vengeance at the heart of the story is both understandable and extreme, yet ultimately the message is that people are not inherently bad and with hope everyone can be "good."I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quick fun read with good visuals and a snarky protagonist.Reviewed from a copy made available by the publisher via Edelweiss.

Good continuation But
Nice continuation of the Hit Girl story, sadly for me the artwork is a little to cartoonish.
