Incredible device, be aware of Rainbow Effect
Absolutely INCREDIBLE projector. Used on a 120in silver ticket white screen. I can only imagine it would be even better with a high end screen. Unfortunately, I discovered upon use that I am sensitive to the rainbow effect laser projectors produce. I didn't know this was a thing and it cause me headaches. Please be aware of the potential. If you generally have eye issues or are sensitive to light, odds are you would experience the same. In which case you should be looking at triple LCD projectors, like Epson. Until laser projectors can solve the rainbow effect, best to look elsewhere. Truly such a a tragedy because the projector was truly gorgeous. Responsive OS and fantastic colors. I mourned not being able to keep it. Photos are in a room with no light source beyond the projector, but I have entirely white walls which add quite a bit of ambience. A fully controlled dark room and the projector will blow you away. ALSO projector screen co who I bought this from are fantastic and I highly recommend their service

Believe the hype, for lifestyle or home theater.
I was on the fence between this and the epson model that was a few thousand more. I liked epsons 3 year warranty compared to the 1 year of this device. I went with the C2 Pro as it can handle dolby vision and hdr10+, uses a lazer and not a bulb, making it future proof in todays market. Pixel shift is fine with me. I did not need the extra 400 lumens of the ultra as it's in my basement theater setup. The C2 did not disappoint. Out of the box, the picture quality is immersive. Brighter than my previous 4000 lumen viewsonic projector. I did have to turn off the auto features for the lense adjustments as im not using it as a moveable lifestyle projector. After some minor calibration and adjustments, I was blown away at how it rivaled some 4k tvs with its picture quality. Yes, you read that correctly. The black levels are darker and more lively than I imagined, but not perfect. Contrast is very defining. This unit offers a dark level enhancer that seems to work well with all sdr and hdr content. The C2 also offers motion enhancing if your into it, also known as MEMC. Gaming was pleasing while playing fps like cod, but I dont think I'll be using it for that purpose too often as i perfer my gaming monitor. Graphics were detailed and I didn't feel like I was missing out on any frame delay, smooth response times. Colors are super accurate. Watching movies from my plex setup like Ready player one, Godzilla v Kong, the details pop out on the screen and I couldn't be more pleased with the colors. Skyscraper and Dune 2 looked amazing as well, again, even in the dark scenes. All 1080p contents looks better than it did on my last projector as well. Football looks really good. I have this mounted on my ceiling paired with an custom 126" frame and elite screens cinewhite a8k acoustic transparent screen, audio is 7.3.4 audio setup. Ui is fast and efficient, however I use an external device for all of my streaming, the Nvidia Shield. If this unit holds up, it will become even more of a game changer than it already is. Don't hesitate to buy this. The picture rivals that of big brand projectors in the $4k range, may even be a better option as it has tech that they dont offer (dolby vision, hdr10, hdr10+). New tech seems to be the way to go. Believe the hype on this one!

Lips don’t sync with audio.
The picture quality is great, but the lips are not in sync with the audio. Oddly enough there is a lip sync control which is factory set at three which makes the lips move slightly after the words. If you move it to 4 the lips are faster than the words. My question is, why would you even have that setting? Why would anyone want the lips not to sync up with the words? Why would they want them faster or slower and why would the factory setting be three? It appears to be a one through 10 so maybe five would be in sync and anything above or below that would be faster or slower.? I don’t think you should be able to adjust the lip sync because it should be spot on no matter what. Very strange.

Outstanding for small/medium rooms wether portable or mounted.
Impressive on every turn so far. Plenty of good reviews on this so I'll emphasize parts that I seen least or didn't and was kind of going blind on: 1) Easily mountable on ceiling or wall without any extra hardware (only need ONE camera BOLT thanks to thread in swivel stand). The opinions that mention "unfortunately can't remove the stand" probably from those having professional mounts in dedicated theater rooms. This works very well for quick mounts in any living areas or simply placing onto anything flat and with Auto Keystone Correction start watching in seconds without any centering/focusing. 2) Plenty bright, decent amount of ambient lighting is no issue at all. 3) Even starting standard mode looks good but when tweak it with Filmmaker or Cinema gets only better.

C2 pro is very impressive
I bought c2 pro model the combo deal from Costco with bag and screen for about $1800. I am extremely happy with the projector. I used to own xgimi horizon pro it broken 3 time in 2 year each time they want me to pay $350. I was so pissed and then convert to c2 pro, at least hiscense as 5 year warranties. This projector is quantum leap over xgimi, super bright, and sharp, contrast is good enough, even gaming on this guy is adequately fast.
