Fancyleds 2.1 Fancy Sync Box Syncing Device with HDMI 2.1, 4K 120Hz, HDR (for 70" to 95" TVs)

What sets this apart is that it uses the feed directly from the receiver—no bulky camera stuck to the top of the TV like other brands. Setup was super easy, and my whole family is obsessed with how much bigger and more immersive it makes the TV feel. I previously had a similar model from another company, and it was just okay. This one, though, looks fantastic—clean, bright, and way more accurate with the colors. The clip I shared is from one of the best scenes in Game of Thrones (Battle of the Blackwater), and this was filmed at 2 PM with the lights on. It looks even brighter and more incredible in a dark room. If you're on the fence, this is the one to get.

Easy set up, connection was tricky I would suggest being near your router when you go to set it up with Wi-Fi, works quickly and syncs perfectly. Really makes movie nights so much more fun and exciting!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works great with streaming boxes but takes some work to get it to display your PC with dolby vision and 120hz etc. Now it works perfectly. I had to buy some extra items. I wanted to run my PC at 120hz from my RTX 4070 TI super. 1. Get a hdmi headless card Fueran 1080p@120hz 2. Daoistek splitter 1 in 2 out 4k@120hz 3. Export the EDID from your existing monitor and save it to the HDMI headless adapter 4. plug output 1 from the splitter to the syncbox or hdmi switcher and the hdmi headless card to output 2 Tried all tyoes of combo to get it to work correctly and this is the only reliable way for me. I now have Dolby vision, HDR, rgb, 10 bit full color. I use a hdmi switcher cause I want the lights to work with my media player, PS5 and PC. Now I just use the switcher and the signal gets sent to fancyled to display.

The lights were easy to set up and they look absolutely beautiful. Lots of light customization options with their app so I could tweak levels just to my liking. I can’t play video games anymore without these lights, they truly enhance the experience. Movies and shows pop as well. Definitely worth the purchase.

This review is for the Fancyleds HDMI 2.1 Fancy Sync Box Streaming Media Player Syncing Device; 4K 120Hz with 1 HDMI input. I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately, it simply doesn't work well. The first issue is the use of WS2811 LED strips which lack a white channel. This results in a blueish tinted white color being used to replicate an otherwise broad spectrum of white colors from your given video content. It's very distracting, particularly when a warm white is displayed on screen. The blueish tint will stand out even more. Another very noticeable shortcoming is the inability to replicate browns of any shade. This is very evident when watching movies like Captain America: Civil War or Dune. Again, the Sync Box will output the wrong color, often resorting to the blueish white or, on rare occasion, yellow. Lastly, I encountered circumstances where the Sync Box would quickly power cycle the LED lights. Not sure if this was due to the Sync Box being unable to replicate the colors or if the screen content was moving too fast (playing fighting games, for example). Once again, the flashing lights were distracting to the point where it hurt my eyes. I spent a great deal of time researching this product category and all of the various products on the market. The FancyLED product seemed to be the right fit for my use case but unfortunately, it failed to meet even the most basic of expectations with its given functionality and multiple hundred dollar price point. Frankly, you're better off with a cheap LED controller and a string of SK2815 LED strips with no synchronization features. The outcome would be nearly the same, cost you less, and you'd be able to replicate whites and browns far better.

Have been using these since I got them a few weeks ago and here's some things I have noticed. The app? Wonderful. I love the different modes (sound, scene, ect...) I think the colors get bright, and I LOVE the variety of colors this can do. I appreciate there not being a camera to put up as well As far as hooking a PS5 through it though we did see some technical difficulties. Now was that user error? Probably. But some of it I don't feel like it. Playing games through the box they come out blurry, multiple settings need changed in order to help this. And this is after several reddit articles and forumns read. Right now our solution is not using the box when gaming because of this. I really didn't want to return this because I absolutely love the experience you get when watching a movie so much. So all in all if you're more tech savvy than me get the lights. If you're not? Still get them cause it's cool 😝

Love it! Adds such an emmersive experience to my tv viewing! I've used others that rely on a camera to mimic the colors, but there was always a delay and if my cats bumped the camera then it threw everything off. Not an issue with this thing, it relies on the video signal from the hdmi so no camera is needed. It was plug and play and honestly exceeded my expectations! This will not disappoint!

Simple to install as long as you do your homework first “you tube” Definitely recommend as the viewing experience is unbelievable and gives a great addition to anything your watching
