great idea, but this flavour is not for me.
The NHS "soups and shakes" diet is a low-calorie, nutritionally complete program designed to help people with type 2 diabetes achieve remission. It involves replacing meals with specialized soups, shakes, and bars that provide 800-900 calories a day for the first 12 weeks. This is followed by a 12-month period of support and monitoring as participants gradually reintroduce healthy, solid foods. The program, , aims to help individuals lose weight, improve blood sugar control, and potentially reverse their type 2 diabetes diagnosis. These soups can be used as part of the diet, and while easy and quick to make up the taste is not great for me, i've used diet soups from another manufacturers before and tomato flavours always seem to be hard to get right, they are too artificial tasting without the rich depth tomato soup requires, the only way I find to make it palatable is by adding extra ingredients like cheese and bread which slightly defeats the purpose!I'd say the diet is a great idea, but this flavour is not for me.

Surprisingly Tasty and Convenient
I’ve been using these as a quick meal option and they really surprised me with how good they taste. They’re really easy to make and ideal when I’m short on time. I’ve noticed they keep me feeling full longer than I expected. A very practical addition to my routine when I want something easy but still mindful of what I’m eating.

Meal replacement soup sachets
This 'Pack of 7 Diet Meal Replacement Soup' from brand "Habitual" are large sized sachets that arrive in an outer cardboard box. There are 7 sachets in total. They are intended as meal replacement sachets, so you would have one of these instead of your usual meal, say lunch for example. Coming in the form of sachets they are both easy and quick to use. You pour the mix into a bowl, mix with 200ml of cold water and then heat the mix, stirring as you go. It's as simple as making any other soup from a packet, like chicken noodle for example.I had my first one today around midday in place of my usual lunch. Taste-wise I didn't find them to be too appetising. They were OK, reasonable. I've had worse things in my life but I've definitely had better. However taste is subjective and whether or not I explicitly adored or despised them doesn't mean that you would feel the same way anyway. You could even make the argument that slimming is not supposed to be easy and these being a bit of a chore to eat is a punishment or that getting through them is a target/goal.With relation to the slimming effect of it, I am happy to believe they are doing the job however I think that like with most things of this nature, you're unlikely to see immediate effects and would have to use the product over a longer period of time to truly see the benefits - but that's just my opinion of course, not a factual statement. I guess the question for you is whether or not you are committed to ordering this rather pricy box of meal replacement sachets over the course of several weeks or even months? How you spend your money is of course your business, but personally I'm unlikely to follow such a regiment with these "Habitual Pack of 7 Diet Meal Replacement Soup".

Tasted horrible unfortunately
I ordered these packet soups to take as parr of a diet I'm on to keep my weight low as I'm at risk of diabetes.Tomato and red pepper sounded delicious.I followed the instructions to the tee, mixed the packet soup with the boiled water, I even used a small hand whisk to make sure it was well mixed.I must admit it didn't look that appetising, it was a light reddy orange colour. As soon as I tasted it I realised it wasn't to my liking, it tasted powdery and to be honest inedible to me, I threw it out and won't be eating the rest.Unfortunate but the idea of packet mixes for people with diabetes is a great idea but it needs to be something edible.I don't like giving one stars but I see no other option here, pointless buying something you can't eat.

Convenient and Nutritious Option for Meal Replacement
I tried the Habitual Tomato & Red Pepper Soup as part of a meal replacement plan and was pleasantly surprised by its taste and ease of preparation. The soup is nutritionally balanced, providing essential vitamins and minerals, and fits well into a low-calorie diet. It's especially beneficial for those looking to manage their weight or support type 2 diabetes remission efforts. While the flavour is enjoyable, some may find it slightly bland without added seasoning.

Tasty but powdery
These are not bad, they do have a nice flavour and are reasonably easy to make, I say reasonably, because they take quite a bit of stirring to get it mixed well.Even fully mixed, the soup does have a slightly odd powdery texture, this feels strange to begin with, but I found once I got half way I stopped noticing the texture.
