I got this to use on my golf bag. It was supposed to hold a light spray bottle. It’s not very heavy. It holds the weight as long as I don’t move. That’s not my issue with it. The “cord” is really just a chain, and the chain seems to be tangled inside the mechanism so it only comes out about 5 inches. It’s very frustrating.

I'm pretty satisfied with this product for the price and quality. I work in corrections and have to lock/unlock my office door and the bathroom door approximately 30 times per shift. I love how the leather on the bottom protects my clothing from the keys rubbing. Also, I knew the spring would eventually give out on it, so I picked this model for the hook so that there wasn't constant tension on the spring with the keys dangling when I walked. I have had this item for 2 months and the spring is giving out slightly. It's just slow to recoil the last inch or two. I don't mind that issue since having the hook to hang the key ring on helps.

This key holder is rugged and tough. I like that one's pants are protected by a leather flap against the key ring.However, when the key ring is extended, the chain makes an unpleasant buzzing noise as its being drawn.Therefore, I do not recommend this key holder unless that kind of thing does not bother you.

This thing is humongous! In the end, no one wants to use it because of how large it is and, unfortunately, it's past the return date on Amazon as it was bought more than a month in advance for a birthday.

It was as promised , hopefully my husband can use it , sure wish it had come with some directions as to how to remove clip from harness

Leather protector saves pants from wear from key ring, a little more stiff than desireable. Does a good job.
