Perfect fit
The clock looks great on my wall. I had to replace the gold hands with black. They are more difficult to read but I am getting used to them and I love my clock. It is a modern farm house look and fits our decor. Love this clock. Keeps PERFECT TIME.

Defective movement
I really liked the aesthetics of this clock and its compatibility with the room decor. Hence, my disappointment when it and its replacement suffered the same defect. The second hand (an otherwise nice touch) pauses, skips, or stutters when it crosses one or more numbers in the upper right quadrant of its path. On both clocks! The smooth operation of this basic component would seem to be integral to even the most modest of clocks. But instead, what initially struck me as an elegant piece of workmanship defines itself by a different phrase: cheap and poorly made.

It's a nice enough wall clock but my eyes find it difficult to see the golden hands. I will keep it but I will paint the hands another color.

My mom does not see well but the white hands on the dark background work for her. Really glad about that.I really like how it looks on the wall and is easy to read from afar.
