First off - when I ordered this, I thought I was getting a terrarium kit with more than just the terrarium itself - but it's just a terrarium. Now I know I need to get some other bits and pieces (and maybe some good insects) I put it together without removing the protective film. The film means that the acrylic should be perfect when it reaches you.The written instructions aren't the best, but the picture makes it clear what to do - just slot it together, and then put the supplied bands around the connections to hold it solid.If you're just after a basic terrarium, this will do the trick - it's just not a whole kit.

Second purchase great for grandson to view his stick insects

They are a good little tank for the insects

Gaps around edges large enough to let fruit flies out when trying to feed my mantis. Shoddily made. Instructions for assembly were useless. Not appropriate for housing any small invertebrate.

Not secure, substrate falls out continuously and mine arrived with broken off pieces which meant it couldn’t be assembled securely. I just used super glue in the end but not good for spiders. I’m going to assume insect will be able to escape as the lid has about 7mm gap on the hinged side. Decent ventilation though

Seems really good , didn’t realise it opened at the top though found out when it was all put together so to late to return , and the corners are sharp it cut my finger

After an obsession out the blue for collecting garden snails, I bought my daughter this neat little tank that is great for collecting snails and creating a nice little habitat for them. Watching them munch through lettuce is quite cool to see up close.Pretty easy to put together, watch the bands don’t ping off when putting them on!
