Although I returned the product because it wasn't exactly suited for my intended purposes (examining phonography stylus for wear or dust accumulation), it seemed to be well suited for its intended use of examining microscopic slides. For the price the construction was more than acceptable. I'm sure both adults and children would find it useful although the optics aren't top tier which if they were would raise the price by a factor of 10 to 100 depending on the lenses used.

My 7 & 8 year old love using this microscope. One of their favorite gifts. They love to out water from all the places outside and look to see the little organisms. Easy to use. Worth the money. The kids take it out and put it away without my help. Comes with storage container.

Solid little microscope. It’s not professional level but if you are looking for budget model that will be fun to either play or teach with it’s a great option.

The phone holder is pointless and none adjustable and made for the first gen iPod touch not a normal phone so scratch that and ignore the pictures it’s for selling purposes only!
