this is my second purchase of same shoes good quality and long durability

I purchased this pair of shoes in October 2024, and within less than 12 months, the outsole has started to deteriorate and develop cracks. The outsole quality appears to be substandard, which is disappointing considering the expected durability of footwear in this price range.

I bought these Hush Puppies expecting the brand to deliver comfort and durability, but the experience has been quite the opposite. I conduct professional training workshops where I stand and walk for 8–9 hours a day, often in formal hotel settings — so I needed a pair that looked formal and supported me well. Unfortunately, these shoes turned out to be a complete disappointment. 👎 Major Pain Point: Within 4-5 hours of standing, I started experiencing sharp discomfort at the ball of the foot (just below the toe joint), especially in the left foot. That metatarsal area takes most of the pressure while standing — and these shoes offer zero cushioning or shock absorption in that zone. 👎 Misleading Comfort Perception: They may feel okay during short trials or while sitting, but they are completely unsuitable for prolonged use. The inner sole is too flat, the padding is superficial, and there’s no arch support or metatarsal cushioning to handle even basic day-long usage. 👎 Style over Substance: Yes, they look formal. But what’s the point if your feet are throbbing within a couple of hours? This is a textbook case of form killing function. 🔍 Verdict: If you plan to stand or walk for more than 2 hours, avoid this pair. You’re better off choosing a brand that invests in actual foot ergonomics — especially if you’re in professions that demand long hours on your feet.
