Elastic Band
The item arrived in 6 days; the estimated date was a month to a month and a half. I thought that was excellent. I was impressed with the cap because it did absorb all the moisture from hair. I was all prepared to give it 5 stars from day 1, but I decided to wait at least a week to see if I still felt the same. By waiting, my rating did change because the elastic lost its tightness after the fourth day. I have to knot it inorder for it to stay on my head. I regret that I did not contact the seller.

Elastic not very tight
Yes the elastic doesn't seem to be tight enough to keep on the whole night. Plenty of room on head if not wearing curlers under cap. But it serves the purpose of keeping my mother's hair style under control while sleeping.

LOVE IT!
This cap is amazing. It took me awhile to find a silk cap, but after finding this one and using it now for about 3 weeks it's just the best purchase I could have made. I started using it right away and I truly love it because I can go longer without having to style hair. Can't say enough wonderful things of how I love this cap.

It is a great sleeping cap
It is a great sleeping cap. I use it to protect my curls when I sleep. The reason I am giving this cap only 3 stars because, it doesn't always stay on at night and the elastic expands easily. I have already bought 2 of these and don't think I will be placing another order.

Good for smaller heads
I have ordered other silk sleep caps off Amazon and they are HUGE! I have a small head and shorter, thinner hair (it is prone to breakage and these caps help immensely). I can see how you'd want a larger cap for longer hair, but this one is perfect and won't slip off while I am sleeping like the larger ones do.

Great material. Real silk
I would definitely give this more stars. The elastic just stretched out very quickly and this fell apart. Great material. Real silk. Not well made.
