Good value and so easy to use
Very effective and super easy to use. Fisher even see a drill that drills both wood and masonry making the job easy still. With your wooden item in place where you want it on the wall, just drill at the correct diameter (6mm for the N6x60 fitting), blow the dust out, pop the fitting in the hole and hit it with a small hammer until it's flush. Job done. You can check tightness with a hand screwdriver if you want, but they seem to need almost no tightening. The main purpose of the screw head is to remove the screw should you need. I've used the bigger 8mm and 10mm for years but never thought of replacing wall plug jobs in some cases with a hammerfix/frame fixing. Works a treat.

Does the job with limitations
Have just used these to fix Aquapanels to a wall, but occasionaly you get one that will not drive right in. They do seem a bit soft and hence only 3 stars.

Screws the affix wood to brick
Long screws, great for what I needed with holding battons to a brick wall.

Hard avoid - these are very bad
These fixings are absolute trash, hard avoid: The plastic is flimsy and bends when you try to hammer it in The tip hardly expands at all and they spin in the wall and don't hold well, especially if at all crumbly The metal is very soft and cams out/strips very very easily A couple of them bent over while I was knocking them in All in all, an extremely frustrating experience
