One of my favourite Japanese whiskies, very fruity with a lingering biscuity overtone, but with a burn like a tonsil-hockey session with Ghost Rider 😊 (the packaging is also gorgeous, see image).Another reviewer mentioned that the price has increased considerably, here's the bad news; all Japanese whiskies are going to continue to increase in price according to an industry insider I spoke to recently for the next 6 to 8 years..The Japanese have always made whisky for their domestic market but were completely unprepared for the huge upsurge in interest worldwide, and stocks are running low, and it's not a process that can be rushed - even a 'non-aged' whisky like this takes time to mature, so if you love Japanese whisky get what you can now (but leave some for me..) 🇯🇵

I won't bore you with all that tasting stuff. This is a nice Japanese whisky and well worth a punt.

Great product, tastes delicious and it gets you messed up!Also ugly people seem to look so much better!! It’s magical!! Honestly stick to this and avoid voodoo and black magic...who needs it when you have Japanese whiskey!! Damn!!

This is a fine, fine whisky. The Japanese have really stolen a march on the Scots in terms of whisky making over the past 4-5 years, and this is a great example of why. If you're buying this as a present for someone who's really into their whisky, then this will definitely impress them. It's full-flavoured but very easy to drink (and that's pretty dangerous).

Now I have had alot of whiskeys over a period of 6 years and always wanted a Japanese whiskey, this whiskey is extremely smoky but very smooth at the same taste, I don't often say this however I wouldn't say it has much of a taste, it's a very blunt taste, almost like smokey water, very intersting I won't buy again, however it was worth the try, just not a whiskey for me

good whisky and as most Japanese brands I've tried they are good taste and smell. One down side(hence 4 stars) a little hard on spirit. maybe giving it a longer time to breathe before drinking. I don't regret buying and tasting it but probably it will not be of my returned purchase

Petit cadeau que je me suis fait afin de changer du Coffee Grain que j'adore. Et bien aucune déception au niveau du goût. Un pure malt auquel avec le temps je privilégie. Prochaine dégustation le Yoichi.

Nikka è sempre una certezza, questo Taketsuru è morbidissimo sicuramente non adatto a palati forti.Se avete già assaggiato un Nikka di fascia bassa come il From the Barrel non aspettatevi la stessa cosa!Secondo il mio modesto parere, solo chi ha già un pò di esperienza con i whisky riesce a capire il Taketsuru nella sua pienezza.Buone bevute a tutti!

ウイスキー好きの友人の誕生日祝いに購入しました。甘い口当たりにフルーティーな香り、いつもニッカの安価なウイスキーを飲んでいたので、大層喜んで貰えました。贈答品として、成功しました。ラッピングは無かったのが残念でしたが、この御時世エコで丁度良かったかも知れません。

Bought this as present for a friend. Received bottle with NO BOX! Photos clearly show bottle with a box... very disappointed.
