Not bad for what I needed it for
I needed to lighten my dark brown hair so I could colour is a plum colour my hair too dark to take it.. I used this brown to blonde .. it came out a strawberry blonde which is fine as I'm covering it.. when I coloured with colour leaving 30 mins it came out a bright pink rather than plum so I think I needed to leave in in longer

nice colour but washes out after 2 washes
colour goes on very bright, not pastel, just as well i like bright colours, but disappointed that it faded dramatically on 2nd wash and washed out completely on the 3rd wash so definitely not value for money

Dark brown to blondy in 35 minutes
I needed to pre-lighten my hair as I wanted to dye it from very dark brown (natural) with turqouise streaks (dyed onto highlights) to a half pale pink and half bright purple.I've not used this kit before but it had good reviews and seemed straight forward to use.It took a couple of days to arrive but arrived within the specified time scales.I already have a lot of hair dying paraphernalia at home - if you dont your gonna need a non-metallic mixing bowl (you can use a thoroughly cleaned and dried take away container - it doesnt need to be anything special) an old towel and a bin bag (to wrap around shoulders to protect your clothing, some hair clips and a comb for sectioning off your hair and either one of those disposable plastic shower caps you get in hotel rooms or clingfilm to wrap your hair whilst the bleach is doing its thing. In the box is 2 sachets of solution, 1 sachet of powder, 1 tinting brush, rubber gloves and some straight forward instructions.Ease of use:This is actually a really easy product to use - the guidelines are in clear and easy to understand language. As I hadnt used this product before I did all the pre-tests -no allergies or issues and was able to work out the best timings for my hair type - if like me you already have different colours n your hair its a good idea to actually get some f the different colours in the strand test as they can react differently to the bleach. My hair is just past shoulder length and quite thick and one box just about covered it all - any longer and you would probably need 2 boxes for all over coverage.Despite the easy to follow instructions the actual application is a little fiddly especially if your doing it by yourself as you hav to try and get it evenly on all over but are also working within a time scale - once you ave started to apply it then you dont want to take too long to get it all done as soe areas will have a longer time under the bleach than others and this will change the colour and make the hair go patchy.Unfortunately for me it wasnt super effective on the turquoise dye and actually some of the dye leached across from the original strands so I ended up with most of my hair bleached really lightly and some pale turquoise strips - if I had included the strips in the strand test I would have known about this but I didnt.Because of the mixed colour I couldnt actually put on the original dyes I had planned as the pink wasnt strong enough to cover the turquoise however the purple as a slightly darker and more bright colour worked fine.I would recommend if you are using this to deffo follow the pre-test instructions as it is really easy to over bleach your hair and to then damage it badly however if you follow the instructions then its fine. I'd also recommend investing in a good quality moisturising conditioner for use afterwards (and I personally avoid argan oil products as they dry my hair out and after this you really want it to be hydrated).I would buy and use this product again and would recommend it as a pre-treatment for anyone with darker hair who needs it lightened for dye work

Great result , great condition.
My hair is now silvery grey, thick, short, wavy ,inclined to frizz, and I wanted it as smooth and glossy as when I used semi-permanent colours years ago on my then brunette hair. I was concerned by the colour of this cream - dark indigo- and definitely didn’t want blue or purple hair. I did a strand test for thirty minutes, then applied the product to a streak of hair - no problem with either. I have now done my full head - lovely result, soft, shiny and silvery; no obvious change in the colour, but beautifully conditioned. Very little mess, the product is a soft jellyish cream, doesn’t drip, washes off combs and the sink easily. Good long gloves cover all the wrists. The three boxes were well packed, arrived quickly, great service, good value. Very pleased , will definitely re-order from this supplier.

Terrible hair colour
The photo showed silver that I wanted. Putting it on my already light blonde hair made absolutely no difference st all in colour

Very bright, beautiful blue
Purchased for my husband, who works in the NHS. Used after bleaching his hair blonde, which is called for on the instructions. Result is indeed a bright and fabulous 'NHS blue' (as he calls it). Very striking. It took 2 boxes for the first application and we've recently reapplied the third box. A good result. The electric colour does only last through 2-3 washes though - which I think for my husband is fine, but worth noting. Fades quickly. I also got some blue Crazy Color Shampoo for Coloured Hair, and this did the job of restoring the vibrancy of the application, but it is at a cost.If hubby continues with the blue we may try a semi-permanent or permanent brand. This is definitely temporary. Perfect for what we needed - to try out a bold colour for maximum effect.
