Not Much Wrong!
I'd like to give it 4.8 stars. First off it's a good griddle. However the griddle has some type of non stick coating. It's not raw cast iron. I thought this at first glance then confirmed it when I tried to season it. I was skeptical about the toughness of this coating but thus far I'm pretty impressed as I've treated it as rough as a normal seasoned cast iron and it's been fine. The good news is that this coating seems to help with heat distribution so i've not experienced any hot or cold spots as with a seasoned cast iron. Please let people know! This should be in your information so that we all don't try and season this griddle!!! (minus .1 star)The only other issue is the grease waste hole is kinda small and doesn't allow enough grease out and can become easily clogged. (minus .1 star)Heats fast and evenly. Non stick is better than seasoned cast iron griddle surface. Fits Weber Craft kit perfectly. Half the price of Weber Craft.Not Much Wrong!

NON-STICK COATED; NOT RAW METAL
THIS IS COATED IN A NON-STICK MATERIAL. It is not raw carbon steel. The griddle is made well and heavy duty, but it is not true raw carbon steel. Nowhere in the description is this clarified and we are disappointed. If you are looking to use metal utensils, I would recommend looking for a different product.

Not as advertised
Product is not bare cast iron like original and has some kind of coating on it. Not sure how long it will last as usually coatings chip when using metal utensils. Can’t even season it as the coating is keeping any oil from sticking.

Works great, but it's made in China. Unfortunately it seems that all of the griddle that fit the Weber are made in China.

Good for alternate use
Especially like using this griddle on a 4 burner propane stove top. I can vary the temperature and cook, or keep warm for foods at one time. The size lends itself to crowd cooking. It's easy to clean and easy to stow in a micro motorhome.
