Very bright when direct light is on it.
As the winter months are on us, and the daylight hours are shorter, I decided to buy this jacket for my cycling commute. I was looking at this jacket on and off during the start of the year and always put it off. Yet over the year I've managed to pick up the gloves during a sale, and then finally decided to buy this jacket. I did originally have a few other reflective jackets in my basket, and even tried on some similar jackets at Evans Cycles. This one is a far better construction, as these jackets do get hot whilst wearing them – but this one has added underarm ventilation.I've now been wearing this on my commute for the last month, as it has been very helpful in the evenings during the dark ride home from work. Where this jacket slightly falls down is wearing it either during the early mornings when the light is quite murky or grey, or during the middle of the day. The material colour does tend to blend in with the road, but as long as you also have a couple of good lights on your front and rear of your bike, then it is no different to wearing any other non high visibility jacket.I originally bought it in a size Medium, but the arms were comically long. I replaced it when a Small size. The arm sit just right, and so does the back of the jacket just covering my behind. Even though it is a Small size, if still feels very loose around the chest, but I don't mind this, as if I do need to layer up in the colder months, I still have the option.Also, I've now cycled in pouring rain a couple of times, and I was kept dry. The fabric is slightly thin, so you will feel the cold on your arm – that's if you are like me and only ride with a t-shirt underneath.All in all, this jacket will be getting a full use over the winter/darker months until I choose to go back to my spring/summer riding jacket.

Incredible
Nothing to dislike on this product. Looks good, feels good and oh boy those pesky cars can definitely see you now :D

Very warm, waterprrof and lights up like a Christmas Tree when car lights hit it
I had the original version of this jacket and loved it. Only problem was I had an accident back in October on my bike and badly broke my elbow and in the process I got a massive rip up the left sleeve.Two operations and some physio later and I'm back on the bike and I had no hesitation in buying this new version. It's great for the winter months as it keeps you very warm but you can open the vents under the arms if it's raining and warm (which I experienced first hand with last weeks thunder storms!!) and the rain doesn't get in at all.This has more of a tailored fit and it's very noticeable compared to the original version but in a good way. The end of the sleeves has been redesigned and is a angled so it's bit longer at the top and the Velcro fasteners slightly moved which works a lot better in keeping the cold out , and when it's raining they tightly fit around my Proviz waterproof gloves creating a complete waterproof seal.I wanted to get the new red CRS 360+ version but I could not justify an extra £50 just to have the exact same coat in a different color.I am very happy with this jacket and cannot recommend it enough.

Cool reflective in the dark
I ordered one of those reflective jackets for my commute ride to work and back. ( a colleague talked about it)It`s useful, I am more confident during my dark rides, it looks good enough for rainy days too. I used it for a run too but I wouldn`t recommend it if the temperature is not low.Overall, it`s a good jacket for winter.Breathability could be better but I guess then it would not be good for heavy rains.First I ordered XL, but it was a bit big so I ordered a large one. I believe the large is perfect for me( I am 6.2 feet tall, sporty style).I tried another jacket too( red color from proviz) but I didn`t feel it was as good reflective as this one.If you want a proviz jacket because of the reflective material then I suggest this one. Otherwise, other colors like in blue or red, they are cooler, stylish. I would keep the red one if it wouldn`t be pricy .

Does the job
I like my cycling gear fitting snug and tight, if you're the same then this item is not for you. Obviously designed for the thicker set person rather than the slim athletic type. That said, I do a daily commute in the dark, often wet and bad visibility. Had a few close shaves in the past, so anything that makes me more visible is always welcome. Just been on my first ride 40km in the dark and wet, and was fine. I do wonder how visible I am when lights are not directly shining on me, say a car coming from a junction, so a good set of bike lights is still esssential. Breath ability is not as good as gore windstopper say, but when cold, I feel warmer with something more Impermeable. I wouldn't wear in the daytime as very grey, and guess the perfect jacket would be this and fluro combined for visibility.

Great visibility
Have been really pleased with this jacket. It is now two years old and apart from the front pocket zips (which have broken) i would gove this a 5 star. Visibility is the best. People often comment how good it is and ask me about it so am happy to recommend

Poor Manufacturing
High Reflectivity is a nice idea but cuff velcro separated and fell off on 1st use.Another area is failing on pulling it off. Only used the jacket 3 times!Would I buy again? No.

Excellent winter commuting jacket
Great bit of kit. Feels solid and well made, decent zip. No boil in the bag but it's been chilly up here.But be careful reading the feedback on sizing. I found the size guide very accurate. I'm a 40" chest (average build) and the Medium fits fine. And, this morning, I was wearing a baselayer, a winter cycling top and a Uniqlo down jacket underneath.I'm using it for winter commuting (great having two good pockets at the front for wallet/phone) and it'll work in the shoulder seasons here in Scotland too. Too warm for summer but who need reflectives in a Scottish summer!(-;
