Fireworks Vase Former Slumping Mold, Small

I use this to drape glass over. Works great and works well with fiber paper. It is made for kiln wash but I like using the paper. No down side to using this stainless vase mold. Junk! Mold is just a little to tall for firebox 14 We have two others just like this and they work perfectly. Poor design. Also projects don't come out nice and even with larger kiln. Just a waste of money :( By the time I realized it was to late to return.

Works as expected. I was concerned that the instructions that came with the mold said that there must be a minimum of 4 inches between the top of the mold and the lid of the kiln. My kiln is small and only has one inch of space. However I have not experienced any cracking. I do wish the instructions gave a ballpark of how much glass to use. I started with a 7 inch (2 fused layers) piece of glass and there was too much flow resulting in my vase having a thick flat lip. I then tried 4 inches and now i have a little cup. Maybe 5.5 inches will do it?

Great small mold to use while learning a new fun hobby...fusing glass. Can get creative. Great price. Can be used for more than vases.

I got this and to me it looks like a pencil holder, Not nice looking at all....I was expecting a much darker product and I got this light stainless steel product that did not match the other items that I was trying to match this with...
