Metamucil packets for travel. Nice and convenient.

My gastroenterologist wants me to use Metamucil twice a day. I can't take a big canister of the stuff with me on trips, so I use these. Normally I like natural sugar and not a sugar substitute like these use, but that does reduce the size of what's in the packets. It's easy to count the number I need to take on a trip. I like the taste. The only reason I give them a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars is that this version doesn't dissolve as easily and clumps. I get around that by mashing he clumps with a spoon. Easy transport, easy to take even in a glass of water in a hotel room.

Nothing I have found so far works better to “move the mail.” It also tastes good…reminds me of Tang from the ‘70’s. Easy to drink; I use 2 teaspoons in water once a day.

I use a pack daily and it has been very helpful with my fiber intake. I highly recommend the powder form if you don’t like pills. The packs are very small and you can put them in your purse or wallet.
