They are NOT deep fried. The texture is really chewy/crumbly/awful. But the bag is great!
I bought these because it said they are "fried" and everything 'fried' is delicious, right? Well, not these. You can't convince me these are 'fried.'They get one star because they each came individually wrapped, they had a Super Cute and nicely made little cloth cinch-tie bag with beads and embroidery, (REALLY nice), and they are so gross and flavorless that your kid will only be glad to accept not two or three of them, but only one, saving them the calories and the shame of getting fat.Because getting fat on these you will not!Imagine you took a nice little flower shaped mold and pressed some kind of thick batter you've created, without much sugar, vanilla, or flavor, and then you pop it ouf ot he mold, and drench it in some kind of thick mysterious glaze that doesn't stick to the wrapper for some reason. Because they are gross, maybe? Yeah....they are bad.They make great and cute little *tasty* party favors to your next picnic or family reunion. Or pass them out at Halloween--they are individually wrapped, after all.They are so bad, even my beagle won't eat them. The squirrels wouldn't eat them. After two nights, I finally discovered the opossum that FINALLY ate the one I tossed out on the front stoop. We live in the country, LOTS of critters, but not even a raccoon wanted it.The pros:-Cute Kawaii-styled bag!-Individually wrapped!-Cute little flowery shape!-You won't gain weight eating these!-It was a real treat and honor just to have the chance/opportunity/ability/life just to try a treat from another country. I mean NO disrespect to Korea or Koreans!!Cons:-NOT fried! Not even sure they are even 'baked' in any way....hmmm-Hardly any taste-Texture is like one of those weird chewy dog treats that are a squared log shape, about 5 inches long, and have some kind of center, like peanut butter or bacon/cheese flavor, with a 1/6" inch thin outer part that is another color. Yeah, I tried one, and it's just like THAT texture. Dog treat had MORE flavor!!-You won't get fat on these!-They will not raise your blood sugar! *Disclaimer, I AM NOT A DOCTOR, NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL OF ANY KIND, SO DON'T TAKE MY COMMENT SERIOUSLY!-They didn't cost more than $5 with free S&H (Thanks, Amazon Prime!)-Not really a 'con' but I have no idea how to pronounce these treats. Are they a candy? A cookie? Something else? Like a Korean mochi??Hey, maybe we didn't like them, but you might! And the bag alone is worth $5.

Not for me because of it being a bit greasy, though many will like this!
These were a little too greasy for me, but I thought the taste was there! I thought that the texture and overall just experience was good eating these, though I'm not the biggest fan of greasy substances when eating food. It's likely not something I'll order again because of that, but I think a lot of people will enjoy it regardless.

yummy!!!!!! there are way more than i thought there'd be! my buddy from korea sent me some yakgwa a while ago and i fell in love. these are a bit drier and honeyless, but still yakgwa. delicious!

When I received it I was not expecting the cloth gift bag and I instantly felt so emotionally Happy on my heart! I warmed them in my pomegranate green tea 🍵 🥮 for a few seconds and it softened to a perfection. 👌 I am very pleased to say that it was everything I imagined ❤️ I finished one whole bag within 24 hours. It was like I could not resist.I can't wait to try more of your products! I wish to visit korea someday in the near future 🙏 ❤️Thank you for the great and tasty experience of korea 🇰🇷 😋

These were very chalky. How can something be sticky and simultaneously dry?!I trust these are probably just not my thing but I was confused why they taste stale when they’re brand new.

Perfectly cute and worth sharing
Cute packaging and the perfect size for little ones. My kids love the taste. It was soft and fresh - not dry at all. High quality product for a reasonable price. It could even be a great gift. Definitely worth sharing with friends!
