Exotropia left eye, which I patch to prevent intermittent diploma. This is a comfortable patch design, especially over the ears where most of the wearing irritation is noted. The wider band is far better than a thin elastic type. The design fits well and has a nice appearance. Not as oversized as some others. I do like the dark brown.

THE GOOD: Looks good. Feels good. Made well. Stays put. Does the job well. THE BAD: Sweat. Since it's leather, it doesn't breathe—so it sweats like crazy. In warm weather, it collects moisture and gets very uncomfortable. IMO, the leather starts to irritate my skin and feel uncomfortable. After wearing mine every day for three months, it simply wore out around the edges and at the connector. In warm weather, I had to constantly flip it up to let my skin dry out. Irritating. As it's almost $20, I didn't know if I wanted to pay for another patch, but in the end, I did. So I'm on my second one now. I'm trying out a few others made of cloth I found on Etsy, but they are itchy and have issues, too. Next, I'll move on to modifying some "sleep" patches I can wear around the house for comfort, (very expensive) But for public, for now, I'm sticking with this patch. I do get pirate comments a number of times a week, sigh, but leading with a relaxed, friendly smile does seem to make people less uncomfortable.

I like it. It’s exactly what I wanted appearance wise. It is not very concave though and my eyelashes constantly brush against the patch. For advertising that it is concave; they didn’t do very well. If you are wearing it for one evening, this is fine

I gave this a review once, I normally will not review more than once but I must say on this once the product is very well made, adjustable to fit, very reasonably priced. Can be used for either eye. The problem…..he refused to wear it……results…..his eye is still infected and getting worse. If you think this could help, do yourself the best favor you can and try it. It could save your eye.

I chose the plastic version as it would be easier to care for. The strap is adjustable with a sliding buckle-like design, FAR nicer than the velcro systems you see on other patches, and it's just wide enough to not dig into your skin, and much less intrusive-looking than velcro straps. The eye covering is just flexible enough for comfort, and it's curved shape makes for a good fit around the face. It's no larger than it needs to be, which is a welcome difference. Almost fashionable (if you need to wear an eye patch).

I bought this eyepatch because I’ll be having cataract surgery on my left eye soon. It’s terrific. I tried it on and I have a round full face. The tension of the strap is great. The patch itself fits great over my eye and it feels comfortable. I just need it so I won’t scratch my eye once I have the surgery when I’m sleeping. Last but not least you can’t beat the price for the quality.

I purchased one over a year ago and liked it so well I ordered 2 more . One of each color . I ordered the 2 on case I misplaced the 1 . These are super comfortable and real leather .
