Excellent sound quality with a few setup nuances
I’ve been really impressed with this headset, especially after taking the time to adjust the settings properly. The sound quality is outstanding, but it does require some setup to get the most out of it. To really unlock its potential, you need to configure the EQ using dolby atmos (which comes included) or through Corsair’s iCUE software. Once dialed in, the audio becomes incredibly immersive, with clear highs, deep bass, and a balanced overall profile. Without that setup, the default sound might feel a bit underwhelming for such a high-end option. The active noise cancelling works well enough to block out distractions without feeling too heavy-handed, which I appreciate for longer gaming sessions or even just casual music listening. The Bluetooth and wireless connections are seamless, and being able to switch between them is a game-changer for multitasking or taking calls mid-session.Build quality is solid, and the headset is comfortable to wear for extended periods, though it can feel a bit snug at first. It’s clear that the premium design is meant to last, and I’ve had no issues with connectivity or battery life. Just keep in mind that setting up the software and EQ adjustments is a must if you want to experience everything this headset can deliver. Once that’s done, it truly shines.

These are brilliant - I can't praise them enough.
I was pleased to try this 'Corsair VIRTUOSO MAX WIRELESS Gaming Headset – Dolby Atmos, Active Noise Cancelling, Sonar works Sound ID, Simultaneous 2.4GHz Wireless & Bluetooth, 50mm Graphene Drivers, PC, Mac, PS5/PS4 – Carbon'.You get them in a classy, very sturdy, presentation box and inside is a beautiful dark grey storage/carry case. The headphones fit into a soft area within the zipped case, which also has the little driver stick, microphone, charger cable, and two leaflets. To find the instruction manual you use the QR code in the base of the presentation box. The online instruction manual is easy to understand and well written. The headphones themselves are brilliant - I can't praise them enough. So comfortable on, with you being able to adjust to your head size with just a slide of the two sides and the lovely soft padding 'rings' over the ears. The aesthetic beauty of them is a thing to behold. The microphone fits in easily and securely, also I love that the bendy stalk is covered a woven material making it look really top notch. The charging cable is similarly covered and fits into the opposite side to the microphone. My set arrived fully charged, although it only takes 1.5hrs to charge from empty. The sound quality has perfect clarity and tone. The microphone works perfectly. The active noise cancellation is first class. You can adjust the sound etc. if you download the driver via the stick included, although I haven't done that because I am happy with the quality I am getting, using the manufacturers settings.I had heard that Corsair was a top gaming equipment manufacturer, although I have never had anything from them, before now. I can say that the whole set has exceeded my expectations in looks, design, comfort and quality. The current price of £279.99 is fair, in my opinion for the quality of this set.

Great, could be better.
They look and sound great, sound cancelling could be better. Headband hurts the top of my head after a long use. Corsair need to improve comfortability, make it less tight.Other than that the quality of it is hard to beat when it comes to corsair, it feels premium.I haven't seen any earcup replacements yet, id imagine they will come later.Love that it came with a hard case.Rgb is very bright, advice creating an rgb off profile for night time on occasion so it's less distracting for others.

Comfortable headset with very good sound
I would image that these are aimed at e-sports and professional gamers. I am neither of these, however I do like to game a bit and I love music so I was very keen to try these out. There are a few things that impress me about this headset. I like the fact that the microphone is detachable for when I want to listen to music. I also like the decent battery time (60 hours apparently) and the quick recharge time too. I'm not bothered about the RGB lights so being able to turn them off is useful. They are also comfortable to wear.As yet, I've only tried these with my Mac but this coming weekend I will get them set up with my PS5 and see how well I get on playing against my mates online. So far the sound has been really good and I do feel a good sense of atmosphere when using these, more so than other headsets I have tried before.Corsair are very well known in the gaming industry and their reputation for building good products is also seen here. These feel very well made. They are nice to wear and they offer a sense of quality workmanship.Although these are made for more accomplished gamers and I can't really do them justice with my poor gaming prowess, I really like them. Sure, they are pretty expensive, however if you are big into gaming, or if you make money from gaming, I would imagine that you'd be pretty happy with this headset from Corsair. Recommended.

Lasted one month of light use.
Do NOT buy this headset. It has now just lost all functionality suddenly, was working fine with 57% battery and randomly began turning itself off and on repeatedly until it got super quiet and now won't connect. It has disappeared from iCUE, won't charge, won't connect wired or with the provided dongle. When plugging it in to my PC it lights up green to indicate charging but after a few seconds it just stops and fails to charge.Re-isntalled iCUE, repaired it, etc. no avail.Feel absolutely ROBBED by a below average Corsair product and will be pursuing a refund.AVOID.
