Good product. Threads are indeed 1/2"
This is a good replacement cartridge. It comes well packaged and even in a plastic storage tube which will come in handy if you're not going to install it straight away (keeps it from rolling around and can be stood up). The cartridge is also clearly labeled on the side; something that hasn't always been the case with other replacements I've ordered.I want to address the other review that mentioned the thread aren't 1/2". I measured mine against a fitting I know to be 1/2" as well as a thread gauge and they are indeed 1/2" x 20 threads. I'm not saying the other reviewer was wrong, but it is possible they received the wrong product or even a return. I think that's an outlier and wouldn't hesitate to order this one if you need 1/2"x20 threads.

A good replacement CO2 cartridge for motorcycle airbag vest.
This CO2 cartridge came packaged by itself. It seems well made; there are no burrs or messed up threads, no scratches or any issues with the cylinder's finish. It screwed into my airbag vest without issue. My airbag vest is an generic chinese model, so I can't say anything regarding its use or function in a Helite or Hitair model airbags. It doesn't come with any Teflon tape to seal the threads but I don't consider this to be an issue. This size of the cylinder (45g/60cc) should be sufficient for most airbag vest but one should always check their vest for the specific requirements. Overall, I think this is a good deal for an airbag vest CO2 cylinder.

It's a really good deal.
The CO2 cartridge arrived quickly. The only way to tell if it actually works, is to use it to deploy my air bag vest...which hopefully, I'll never need to do. :D In the meantime, I'll trust the product because there's no indication that it shouldn't work. The price is about the lowest you'll find, so I think this will be a good deal for anyone needing a replacement or spare cartridge.The only reason for rating it as a 4 star instead of a 5 star is the threads look like they need some deburring. There's a potential for stripping the threads on your air bag vest...and I admit I am very cautious about that kind of thing. It will probably never give you a problem.One item of note. While it is a 60cc cartridge, not all cartridges have the same size threaded fitting. Check to see before purchasing if your air bag vest has the same size threaded connection. If it is the right size, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal.

fits fine in my vest and seems identical to competing products. I have no issues with it. if it's a good price, buy it!

The thread IS NOT 1/2 inch. Cartridge on left is 1/2 inch thread.
