This is an interesting product; a really satisfying-looking creative building project for a child with quite a lot of dedication and patience. I say that because it looks like a lot of work much of it quite precise and fiddly. But the detail in the finished model looks definitely worth the effort.The model is shaped into a cube and is designed to be a bookend or an ornament on a bookshelf, though it could be displayed anywhere.It seems there are a a number of different themed models in the set - this one is in a witch/wizard’s study, complete with books of spells and a skeleton. The level is detail is quite fascinating.The main pieces of the model are made of wood that come within six sheets of printed and laser-cut MDF-type wood. The precision of the cut is impressive. Other pieces are printed in paper or card. There’s a well-illustrated, step-by-step instructions booklet. Kids short of patience win fine it challenging to persevere, I think, but for the right sort of child, this would be a great gift. I think I’d have loved it if given it when I was 11 or 12 or so.I do think the design of the outside of the box is a bit odd. It’s quite atmospheric but it’s actually hard to tell from the box what the thing is inside it. I mean, if I’d not looked at the listing, I don’t think I’d have guessed it was a diorama model kit.

Although intricate, this set is easy to put together. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and once you've made the dolls' house up, it's more robust than I'd thought it would be.

This a good DIY diorama set. It comes with everything you need to build it. The laser cut wood panels are good quality and printed with art and the identification number of each individual components. The sides are also printed and looks good quality. The included accessories are okay, but the tweezers and files are likely for one time use and the included glue is just a very small amount. Regardless glue is not needed for the whole assembly and the well illustrated(altho a bit chinglish) instruction manual clearly indicated where it is meant to be used.Overall its a good kit and provided it comes with a reasonable pricetag it could be a good value!
