None of the seeds germinated
I planted the seeds together with several other types of seeds purchased from the seller. While other plants grew, none of these perilla seeds showed any signs of germination. I eventually had to discard them. It is unfortunate that I did not get a single yield out of the entire package.

Pretty good seeds 5/8 success rate so far.
I would like to preface it that I am a beginning Gardener and I'm learning as I go. I followed the instructions and soaked the seeds before planting them. I planted them in my nursery set up on August 13th. They just broke the surface today on the 19th so it took them a total of 6 days to begin peaking out from the surface of the soil. I planted 8 tiny cells at the same time but so far I only have 5 blooming. Overall however I am quite pleased with the results. As a person trying for the very first time to grow plants from seeds. 5/8 success rate does not seem horrible. So far they are healthy and strong.

Save your money
It's been over a month since i plant the seeds, 2 seeds per hole for 5 or 6 rows, Nothing came out. I mean not 1 single sprout. Save your money and look for other brand.

Great Seeds - Saved My Marriage
The package arrived very quickly, with instructions in Korean and English - I actually just ignored all of these instructions and went ahead with my own method of sprouting these bad-boys. I already had some jiffy seed starters and a heat mat purchased from starting off my basils and tomatoes earlier this season. In about 5 days I saw sprouts, I placed 4 seeds per seed-starter, with about 10 seed starters. 6 of the Jiffy's had 3 out of 4 seeds sprout, 3 of them had all 4 out of 4 seeds come out, and 1 of them was a completely miss on all four seeds. It's a pretty good ratio granted I had to cull the extra sprouts to create space for the plants. The wife is ecstatic as these seeds have turned into very healthy plants. The only problem is that now she wants to eat Korean BBQ all the time with me at home, and the smell in the house is ridiculous, not to mention the garlic breath associated with eating all this KBBQ. Honestly though, with all the kimchee that's being eaten in this house too, we can't complain about a little nasty breath - it does add an unpleasant twist in the bedroom though.

but can be easy to maintain like other ground cover
I have just become enthralled with perilla leaves almost always mislabled sesame which they definitely aren't although no one seems to know why. I get carried away with new things and decided to try to grow these leaves. When you can find the, leaves, they tend to be too small. They are a fragrant leaf which is put up in a hot, spicy sauce and often called a kimchi. The are supposed to be hard to start, but can be easy to maintain like other ground cover. It will be months before I have a useful rating and will likely neber get that far with them. Most people should find and use the finished product, which Amazon has. They are just a little spendy, but more than tolerable.
