This is my 2nd drone purchase. I am working my way up! Honestly, it is a much better beginner drone than my 1st one! Directions were easy to follow and I had it flying around in minutes, it is easy to control, buttons work well and are comfortable to use.! I had some problems that are completely operator error as I am dyslexic and it really doesn't matter how many times you yell turn left, turn left... I am going right, and I am probably going to crash! Once I figured that out I did fairly well! This Ameta beginner drone brings 2 rechargeable batteries with it, lasting a little over 35 minutes. I am told that's pretty good. Picture quality is great. I didn't try to see just how far away I could get with it, it boasts 200 meters which is 650 + feet !! Thats a lot really, and I am not comfortable enough with my piloting skills to let it get too far out of my sight, however, it does have a find your drone function that I will probably end up happy I have at some point! I like that it comes in a compact little bag of its own, making it easy to take places and know I have everything with me! It also has some spare propellers parts which is great... I didn't lose any yet, but my first drone did not come with extras and my husband lost one within the 1st 10 minutes and that was the end of play time that day! So I love that! I played with this drone about 25 minutes the 1st day I got it, the 2nd day I felt very comfortable using it. I think this would be easy for most pre teens to use without much assistance. Younger children might need an adult to help. I feel that it was competitively priced and a good deal compared to others with similar features. It's fairly quiet, so I am hoping to be able to get some nice pictures of nature in the spring and summer. I've been practicing my skills doing in air 360 turns and going way up and way down fairly quickly for about 3 weeks now and I'm not crashing (too much) and I'm getting really good, so tomorrow we are going outside!! I definitely think this is a drone any beginner would love getting as a gift, and would not get bored easily with.

The Ameta drone is perfect for first-time flyers. Easy to set up, simple controls, and surprisingly the stability in the air was great. The camera quality was fantastic. The functionality of the features made for a beginner made flying stress-free. Awesome value and super fun to use! Highly recommend.

Ive beat the crap out of this thing already, I'm not a natural. New to drones and wish that after a crash, no matter how gentle or violent, you could launch it immediately but it requires a hard reboot which makes me think I'll lose it pretty quick if I really push the altitude. Probably not the truest sense of a beginner drone but does come with 2 batteries, an OK battery life, and what I expected out the camera. I'm mostly satisfied and think most users would be too.

Good beginner-friendly drone with a surprisingly good 4K camera for the price. It’s easy to fly thanks to altitude hold and one-key takeoff/landing, and the dual batteries give decent flight time. Lightweight, foldable, and perfect for casual aerial photos and learning without spending too much.

The perfect drone for parents and kids to play with together. The camera is amazing. It takes beautiful pictures. It folds up nicely and the carrying case is great. The absolute best part is it comes with 2 batteries. We charge one while using one and they really last a long time. They thought of everything. There are replacement parts and a drone locator in case you crash and can't find it. We are so happy with our drone and can't wait for our next adventure.

Bought two and they perform the same, which is: Okay. Software works. Video is very choppy. But most of all they are highly unstable. They do NOT stay in the same place, they drift pretty strongly. But for the price, eh, fine.

This is an awesome little drone. We only tested it out a little bit a we purchased as a gift. It’s fairly easy to fly, and the camera quality was way better than I expected. It definitely is quieter than the one my husband had for job sites. And a bonus feature I haven’t used is the find my drone function. we had some flight issues with past older drones when they first became mainstream and one was permanently lost. I like that It’s beginner and budget friendly too and will make a great gift for my son.

Honestly, this drone is awesome. Super easy to fly, even if you’re a beginner. The camera quality is way better than I expected for the price, and the battery life is solid. It’s stable in the air and the controls are really smooth. I’ve had a lot of fun using it and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good drone without spending a ton of money.
