We utilized this roof top bag for camping. I was impressed with how much the bag can hold as it did not look this big, even in person. I was able to comfortably pack 2 sleeping bag rolls, 2 average sized plastic totes, a micro-foam "large dog" bed, 4 person tent in bag, and 2 collapsible walking sticks. The bag held up wonderfully while traveling on interstate at about 75/80mph. The ONLY reason I did not provide 5 stars for this product is because 2 of the Velcro patches that secures the zipper cover flaps have already ripped off. Otherwise happy with the purchase and it served its purpose well!

I chose this rooftop carrier as it had such great ratings. And I know there’s always one!! I got that one. First day on the road of a 2500 mile round trip two of the tie down latches ripped loose. They beat against my car windows so we pulled over and pulled them off. Thank goodness we had some bungy cords. So we had to make an emergency run to Walmart for ratchet style tie downs to hold it on. It has great space inside, but loosing two straps on day one of a long trip do not make for fun times.After I contacted the company they immediately sent me a replacement bag. They were kind and courteous. And they are also sending me the next generation updated bag to try. Honestly this shows such integrity on their product:). Highly recommend this bag:)

Thank God for this thing! We way over packed for our trip to Key West and this came in very very handy. I just wish I knew it would have held so much more because we loaded the back seat up as wel. Definitely more than worth it would suggest anybody that's thinking about it too just get it!

Got this for trip from N. Cal to Seattle. Attached to sidebars easily enough and seemed fine all the way up and back. However, when I took it off my car, noticed the black plastic on the outside was coming off in many places and more and more is peeling off. I don't recall this being a use once disposable item. Kidding. Not too happy and of course I just missed my return time, but just saw this damage. My advice is spend a little extra for better quality.

I am using this bag in combination with a Curt cargo rack on my 2018 Forester. I havent taken the bag on a trip yet, only loaded it in the garage. The bag seems high quality and well built. The adjustable straps make it flexible for most applications. I was also impressed that it fit fairly easily back it the storage bag that it was shipped in.

It’s a pretty good rooftop cargo carrier! Very easy With the straps and the buckles so make it durable and safe! Comparing this to the other carriers with hard plastic material, I like this much better! First it won’t hurt your car, won’t scratch your paint! And it’s lighter weight and more flexible ! Generally I like it! And I highly recommended!

We bought this product at last minute of our long driving trip from Indiana to Arkansas, Omaha and to Texas round trip. From the time we got on the road , it literally rained hard hit and miss all the way to Arkansas. The carrier bag didn't bodge not any whistle of the wind . When we off loaded three medium size luggage, tent,fishing gears, three sleeping bags, our dogs luggage ( LOL) not a a drip of water was even on the Velcro noticed . Also the heat in Texas, inside a black SUV Nissan Xterra pro4x , the carrier bag shielded the sunlight. I recomend this product with 10 stars .Thank you

Used this for a 7 hour car trip. Only complaint is that it’s not waterproof...this is assuming my husband installed it correctly:)We got to our destination only to find that everything inside was damp. Fortunately, we mostly had life jackets towels and a suitcase. The outside of the suitcase was damp, but the clothes inside the suitcase remained dry. For extra precaution, I’ll just wrap a trash bag around anything I don’t want to get wet.
