If you like having your special area to chill be really dark, this should be extremely helpful. I used it for my man cave for gaming and what nots and had used black out panels, but they never fully covered the cracks. This helps with those smaller spots and able to fit perfectly to just do those finishing touches. They hold really well and compared to the low price, it's definitely worth it. quick and easy use set up and comes with a decent amount of the tape, so should last for most part for a while or multiple uses.

I picked this up as part of my long running plan to make rooms dark at night again. SO MANY BLUE LEDs infect your house, but this tape covers them all up. Especially good for anything that likes to blink with the power of a thousand suns.

Current price: $9.99 plus 10% couponI have a window that has blackout blinds but there is still some light coming in through the sides so I thought this blackout tape could solve my problem of wanting total darkness. I used regular tape to adhere it lightly to the window trim to help cover the light gap. Due to the depth of the window and the how my blinds were installed there is still some light able to get through. The angles just don't work out completely but if the tape was flush with my blinds I am sure I'd have nearly complete darkness. The tape is very dark indeed and it comes off its backing nicely. I can't say for sure if it would cover a glowing light completely as I didn't use it that way but I think at a minimum it'd make it very dim so to me, it's worth it. It has a unique feeling to it, slick but matte and easy to cut with scissors. This tape has many applications so I know eventually I will find a use for this huge roll. I can't speak to longevity but I did take some off the backing and apply it to the window and it can be repositioned easily and doesn't stick to itself too badly. I like this product and I think the price is fair, given the size of the roll.

This light blocking tape is great for running a long strip of LED tape light where I need segments of lighted and segments that are not. I am lighting a display cabinet with LED strip lighting. I want the light to show in the horizontal segments of the display case, but where I need to run the strip up or down to the next section of the cabinet I don't want it to be lit so it looks like I have installed lights in only the tops of each section of the cabinet. If I didn't use this light blocking tape to cover the sections where I have to run the tape light upward or downward it would not look as professional as it does by covering the light in the sections that run verticle. I always wondered how people used a single long tape light to light up a case with many compartments without it looking sloppy by running the light up and down to get to the different compartments. Now I know how it is done. This is a large roll that I have many uses for like covering those annoying lights on my cable box, my TV power light, and the power button on my surge protector in my bedroom. This helps to make the room dark which is how I like to sleep. Great product for covering anything that lights up and you don't want it to.

I ordered a trail cam to catch whoever is stealing my mail. For some stupid reason it has a blinking blue light that is obvious at night. If I wanted to use it as a deterrent that would be okay, but what I really want is to catch this person. This tape solved that problem with a quick snip, peel, and stick. I've since used it cover a few random led beads that annoy me. It has come in handy more than I expected, but I don't ever see myself using even half of this roll.
