I have had 1 shoulder replaced, but even after a year not full range of motion. The other shoulder torn rotator cuff tendons and partial tears of triceps tendon and triceps tendon, so getting stuff on over my head is a challenge. This is a lifesaver. Well made and sturdy. Use mine every day and even got one in my bathroom and another in my bedroom so I always have one handy no matter where I get dressed. Can unscrew it (it has 2 parts) to fit in suitcase or even a large purse for travel.

really works great! It is long enough and easy to hook under collar or back to lift off or help wrap around back for opposite sleeve.

Grandma need a dress tool and something to help he grab her blankets. This has really good reach and is easy to use. Good functional and sturdy. Overall great quality.

This continued to come apart needing constant adjusting.

I’m a quadriplegic and I use these dressing sticks for reaching and grabbing things and pushing things around etc… I own several. It’s a little irritating when they start to come loose because I’m not able to tighten them myself. But it is a cool concept to be able to take them apart to travel with.

This dressing stick was the perfect device for my husband who has MS and limited dressing capabilities. He can easily get his underwear back up when going to the restroom with the help of this device. I highly recommend it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this product because it comes apart. I am partially disabled and I carry it with my other necessities in a bag on my walker. Unable to bend over to reach past my knees. Comes in handy when I need to change clothes. I highly recommend this one.

The hook end was handy for putting on compression socks after hip surgery. The hook just fit into the hole of the zipper so I could pull them up. I doubt they would be of any use for non-zippered socks. I could have just screwed a cup-holder into a dowel and gotten the same benefit, though.

This dressing stick comes in pieces, but is very easy to screw together. It is quite sturdy when assembled, as it is made of solid wood and metal. The white shapes side is larger than I expected, although the pictures are accurate. It works well to get under socks to remove them as well as pants. The hooked side is useful for holding onto the tongue of shoes so that you can slide your foot in. It's also meant to be used for zippers. My only complaint is that I wish it was a few inches longer. I'm not tall for a woman, average height at 5'5", but I still have to bend a bit to use it. It's not ideal for me, and may be a bigger problem for someone even taller.

I have tried 3 plastic sock removers and snapped the hook off all 3! This sock remover is well made with coated metal and removes my socks with ease! I highly recommend this product!!

Like the device, does the job. However when traveling the chrome piece doesn't stay in place so I taped it on. Now it works fine

Purchased this after hip surgery for dressing and it works really well in helping me get dressed or undressed as needed without someone else around to help. It travels well in 2/3 pieces and the stick is nice and smooth in the hands. Other wooden dressing sticks I tried felt rough and like they would give me a sliver or 2. It’s a great length for someone who is 4.5ft to 6ft depending on how much you’re able to bend comfortably. 5 out of 5, would definitely purchase again!
