Alphacool G1/4" Eiszapfen Temperature Sensor Plug, Chrome

This sensor works perfectly with my Aquacomputer Octo fan controller, using it to monitor coolant temperature for a custom loop liquid cooled computer. Very consistent readings, seems to be quite accurate. Construction is excellent, especially compared to some of the cheap junk that is out on the market.

Accurate and easy to install. This is unique compared to the other ones on the market as the sensor is fairly long.Could be a good thing or a bad thing. For myself it was perfect.I have it in the reservoir fill port which enabled me to add the temp sensor without draining any coolant or tearing anything down. The sensor is long enough to be in the fluid and obtain proper temps. You will need to ensure reservoir is mostly full however for this to work.

Works like it should. Hooked it to a small LED screen for readout with no issues.

Put in my ekwb d5 and it works great.

Does the job with no complaints

I tested out different components of my build which none failed air pressure testing to .3 bar until I got to this temperature sensor to test. I went to Ace Hardware and bought a o-ring part number 56229-2 and stretched it over the threads. Testing in progress to see if that fixes it issue. Looks ok so far after 30 minutes no change in pressure. So tired of so many companies selling junk these days.

Works as intended, I use this as the fill port cap on my alphacool eisbaer. The probe is long enough to reach down in to the reservoir and I plug it into a corsair commander for monitoring an fan curve profile.Black cap was 3d printed, original color is bright chrome.

under load the probe seal started leaking and dripping along the cable. i was able to seal it back up with some superglue i had on hand but come on. this is not the quality i expect from alphacool of all people.

It shows the same temperature as my chemistry thermometer within 1°C of variance. Good enough for watercooling.

Works great. No issues encountered. I like that the probe reaches deeper into my reservoir than other thermal sensors would. I assume this would give me a better reading but haven't done any testing.

Tut was es soll, misst zuverlässig die Temperatur im Wasserkühlkreislauf. Auf den passenden Header gesteckt lassen sich damit Lüfterkurve und Drehzahl der Pumpe temperaturabhängig einstellen, ohne dass das ganze nervös wirkt wie bei CPU temp als ausschlaggebende Variable. Ist das Geld absolut wert.
