Flawless high function watch
Whilst I'm mainly to be seen wearing mechanical watches I love this piece for its 100% accuracy thanks to daily satellite updates, easy to use world time function and 200 meters water resistance, amongst other features. Use daily for running or swimming and great beach holiday watch due to world time, durability and diver abilities. Astonishing value for money, minor gripe is resin bracelet which if brakes are a fiddle to get replacement fitted. Be aware it's a big watch, but suitably so for its function.

Casio Men's WV200A-1AV Exceptionally Accurate
With modern watches, I'm not sure whether to expect a plethora of additional functions - most seem to have add-ons which will hardly ever be used. This Casio has just the basic functions with a very big plus - it's accuracy! Within 500Ms, and can be set for UTC or daylight saving with very little setting up. I noticed that other reviewers had problems locking on to the various atomic clocks. Quick solution: download the Junghens app ( there are others) and let the watch lock on to that first. Kind of like a "kickstart". Where I live, there is a radio "Shadow" for FM, DAB, etc., in other words, lousy reception! Using the app completely negated any reception problem, the watch updates overnight, every night. I can highly recommend this Casio.

A real Man's watch.
Had this watch since 2010 when I saw one of my school friends owned one (handed down from his dad of course) and became completely obsessed with it's appearance after never seeing such a rugged and brutal looking digi watch at the time. Needless to say I begged my parents for one and got it for my birthday. It ran for 7 years straight until the strap broke due to my active teenager lifestyle and so, after missing it dearly for 6 years, I bought another one in 2023 and it's just as strong and of good value as it was back then. It's easy to get sick with the casio bug and start buying every casio you see for the fact that they're so cheap and good looking, but if you want to behave then all you need is this watch. Legibility is perfect, no dodgy viewing angles like newer G shocks, easy to use and just does the job that it's made to do perfectly. What more could you want? This is a life partner. Strap breaks? Replace it with another resin or metal band. Battery dies? 2 quid and 5 minutes of your time will have you set for another 15 years.

The watch automatically sets the time by reading radio signal.
+ Must be ok as it is my 3rd Casio WV200 watch. + Waterproof - ext on display could be larger

Old style still works well
This is a good solid watch but seen others say its satellite controlled for time it simply isnt. Just to manage expectations nothing this old uses satellites it uses an older long wave time signal in each country. It though works well and is robust and waterproof if you want old school then this is it.

I've been a loyal Casio customer for going on 20 years. I've worn the G-Shock GW7900B for probably the last 8 years or so. but the older it got the more spendy it got. That one is solar powered and the battery kept dieing on me every 18 months or so the last few years. It's going out again so instead of forking over another $50 + shipping to send the7900 in to get the battery replaced, i found this watch. I love it. Not only is my other watch getting older, so are my eyes. and this WV200A has a larger font i guess you could say so it's easier to read. There aren't as many bells and whistles on this watch as my other, and i wasn't sure i'd like that, but i was wrong. I like not having all those extra functions i only occasionally used. What this watch does have - -Atomic timekeeping, so you never have to worry about resetting the time every time change -Large easy to read numbers -US mm/dd/yyyy format -Timer (default set to 60 minutes) -Stopwatch -1 Alarm The options are easy to find and set, like the hourly chime, daylight savings (on, off, auto) The only thing i don't like, and this isn't the watch's fault, it's my location, is that it won't manually sync to the atomic time servers. I live in the mountains, and the signal here is spotty at best. I have to drive south an hour to the desert area for the signal to sync. Which isn't a big deal, i'm down there at least once a month anyway. The band is a little small for my wrist, but that was expected, i'm a big guy, everything not custom ordered is small.
