RitBack to Blue Denim Dye Kit

We saved three pairs of shorts that had bleached spots with this kit. Easy and straight forward instructions. Process takes about an hour for a deep dye. We've just ordered two more kits.

I was able to dye 2 pair of Arizona Jr 11 flare jeans, 2 pair of capris, and one pair of shorts to a satisfyingly darker shade of blue with this. I used it in my top load Samsung washer with zero issues. I DID use extra dye fixative, as I had half a bottle left over from another project. Dye did not stain the inside of my wash and didn't affect any following loads of laundry. The dye comes with instructions for stovetop pot dyeing, but you can go to the Rit website to get washer instructions.

I used the whole bottle for two faded pairs of jeans and the results are super dark. I could have used only half a bottle, really. Excellent product. Easy to use in a canning pot on the stove. The fixative is holding the color perfectly. Hardly any blue after the first rinse. Good value for the cost since I saved more than $40 not having to buy new jeans for work. They look brand new.

I was pleased with this denim dye kit. Has all the ingredients needed to refurbish old jeans. Easy to follow instructions. Worked well.

My husband loves this item! He has bought it multiple times to keep his jeans dark. My biggest worry was the dye rubbing off on furniture. It didn’t.

The kit was easy to use and had great directions. I used it on a pair of faded jeans,and probably should have added a less dye as they turned out darker than I wanted, but that's okay.I got my morning workout. Stirring the items in the dye, haha ☺️

Initially, this worked great. Brought my jeans back to a dark denim look after being significantly shades lighter. The unfortunate part is even after following all of the steps, washing correctly, the color faded out again. It did not stick. Basically for me, this was a waste of time and money

What a great value! I was looking to dye a canvas bag when I stumbled across this. The instructions were clear and it came with everything you need to do the dye. I will definitely repurchase when looking to darken old clothes that need a refresh and also to change out the color of my lighter jeans. The bag turned out a perfect shade of dark blue after letting it sit for 45 minutes. Excited to use the bag again with its new color
