Nice and compact (smaller than I imagined) good battery life of up to 60 days approx.Shame it can't be wall mounted but comes with a stand.I can get an idea of the air quality where I am and with having asthma that's a big help.Comes complete with charging cable and most phone charges will work with this.Recommended 😊

Came across this following a review from a YouTuber and was a great idea to get an easy to read view of the air quality throughout my home over a period of time. Only negative is that the batteries don't last long at all.

Accurate and dependable

Some of the reviews for this product say that the battery doesn't last, and I think that's because the users are using them in realtime mode. Mine arrived with a fully charged battery (4 bars) so I put it on the shelf in the living room and after almost 2 months of being on it's only just lost a bar in the last couple of days. As I said in the title it seems to work perfectly and has put my mind at rest as I think my next door neighbour hasn't been using kiln dried (20% moisture) wood on his log burning stove - I've seen him cutting up pallets and odd pieces of wood and I can sometimes smell it in my living room. If you're wondering what I'm bothered about, look up PM2.5. I've heard him coughing like a smoker and he doesn't smoke and they have 3 young children which could be at risk of long term lung problems.

EDIT: Can confirm it is giving a good early warning when my air quality is dropping due to neighbours wood burners and also confirming my air filters are dealing with the associated pollutants. Occasionally the air quality will drop for seemingly no known reason and then return to normal a few minutes later but not very often. Am getting a few weeks between full charge and it dropping below 50%, mainly on Auto settings but sometimes on real time or every 5 minutes but also turned off at night. So still a good purchase for me.#######Wasn't sure I needed one and confused there seemed to be two versions around but took the plunge. I had hoped the newer one (orange text rather than white) had a bigger battery but they are both 800mah. The newer one supposedly has an updated "control algorithm" to extend battery. There are various claims and even this listing shows "40 days on Eco-mode" in the picture but "7 days in Eco-mode" in the description. I bought the orange text one but the manual still indicates "7 days" max and there is nothing to say it is updated just the "S1" name. There are also different dimensions and weights but one includes the stand (that came with mine) and the other doesn't.Mine came with all 4 bars for battery and it took 30 minutes to charge until full. My watt meter shows 1 watt on charge and 2 watts charging and sampling. I initially set it to sample every 5 minutes and it showed 4µg/m³ but it settled at under 2µg/m³. Seems low but ok. I tested it by lighting a match and it went up slowly every 5 minutes but only when I set it to real-time monitoring did it shoot-up to give a true high value and then dropped down as the smoke cleared. It seems the sampling duration is not enough to register BIG changes in air quality. (perhaps the new tweaked algorithm) Even on auto it does not seem to sample long enough for big changes. So you either have to use real-time mode or expect it to take a long time to adjust to changes in air quality. AQI is just calculated from the µg/m³, rather than a separate metric.Temperature seems spot-on but I suspect the humidity 3-4% too high.The fan which comes on whilst sampling cannot be heard unless put right next to your ear, you can see it spin looking through the vent especially with a torch.It would appear the case is snapped shut so cannot be opened by removing screws to eventually replace the battery when it stops holding a charge but then again, it is likely the pm2.5 sensor only has a limited designed life of perhaps 3 years or so.Big test will be in the winter with the current trend for everyone to be polluting our towns and cities with wood burning stoves, with the blessing of our (not so) esteemed leaders.

I have had this product since November 2023 and was able to use it for approximately 3 months before the battery completely died despite multiple attempts to charge it using the included charger.I have another two air quality monitors (other brands) in my apartment and noticed that this one does not provide an accurate reading.I've contacted the seller to see if they can help with these issues or provide a refund. Awaiting a response and will update this review accordingly.

Great little gadget, easy to use and ideal for hayfever and asthma sufferers to know when to employ the air purifier.
