Large High Side Cat Litter Box

It’s a just fine litter box. Mine came in a royal blue. It is a bit taller on the side and the back, which helps. But the main reason I bought it was so that I could get it delivered in the Amazon cardboard box. That’s the secret! Keep the litter box inside the Amazon box and that makes the sides high enough to catch all that flung litter! FYI, I needed to put the cardboard box into the cat litter “house” that I have and the box was a bit too long. So I cut it in half and then slid the two pieces of the box into each other to make the box shorter. The litter scooper is the Duranimals (best scooper ever made) and with the shape of this litter box it fits perfectly in the corner inside the box. My favorite litter is the brand that starts with Fresh St**. I only ever use the unscented low dust formula as this is better for my breathing and my cats. I have a pretty big kitty who is super fluffy and this litter box is a good size for him. I erred and also bought the medium size but that’s really only for kittens. This is what you need for a full sized cat. Oh, one extra tip! I just bought one of those honeycomb cat litter mats and it is like a dream come true! Between the high litter box, the cardboard box, and that mat, I have cut litter tracking down to a bare minimum on hard wood floors! (Try to find a honeycomb May that doesn’t come all folded though, I got two and the folded one just isn’t flattening out well. See my other reviews I’m about to write). If you really want to get creative you could decorate the cardboard box too and make this all really look great! Ooh! I might get some nice contact paper and try that! That would be cool! I hope this review helps someone. I spent way too long trying to decide which litter box to buy. And yes, I paid for this. I don’t know who gets all that stuff for free.

She's a tiny little gray Korat kitty, so we assume she's trying to make it home to Thailand via a hand-dug underground railroad—but whatever her intent... she digs. And digs! And she keeps on digging until half the litter is on the floor and the other half is trailed about as she whizzes from the box at top speeds announcing loudly to the other members of the household that she has, in fact, succeeded at her 'task'. So not wanting to dissuade her from her life-long dream of making her way back to her homeland we decided instead to find a deeper box so we can at least contain the mess she makes living her dream. This box has worked perfectly. The sides are extremely high (8 1/2" at it's highest, 5 1/2" in the front) and though she's a tiny cat she seems to appreciate the extra room to do her thing. The box seems built well and it's been holding up fine during her busier digging sessions and also cleans quite easily, the litter comes away quickly and it all washes up well with soap and water with no stains noted yet. It is delivered in whatever colour is available; the teal we received doesn't really work with our decor, but neither did the piles of litter in varying sizes all over our bathroom floor, so we'll live with teal. For now. Keep in mind, this is quite a large litter pan, so double check the dimensions above and make sure you have room for it. I definitely prefer the smaller boxes, but kitty has made her point well, so we've moved on to other arguments I might be able to win... you know, like the possibility of her leaving the arm of my new sofa alone... at least for the first year. We're still in talks.

It’s a basic litter box with high sides. It seems well made. I can’t really review it because it was to small. If you have a large or long cat take into consideration this is a very small litter box. It would be fine for a kitten but not an adult cat. Rather than return it I donated it to the local shelter.

I have to update my review this is the 2nd time I have bought this product. The first was for my 19 yr old cat who was having problems using the litter box she would get litter all over and tipped it over a few times. This litter box worked great because of the high sides and its sturdy. I now have a new kitty so purchased it again because it doesn't tip over, and keeps the kitty litter where it belongs. It's very sturdy and well made and works for elderly or a young cat

This litterbox is of good quality and is made of the type of thick plastic commonly seen in most litter boxes. The inside is smooth and I didn't have much of a problem scooping as long as the cat waste was dry. My kitty pees in the same spot, right against the wall of the litterbox, and I found that litter that is still damp can be trickier to remove from the box. But that is how most litter boxes are. You should definitely double check that this is the size you are looking for before ordering. This is really small, best for extra small breed adult cats and kittens, so even a medium cat would definitely be pushing it. I was able to fit this box in one of the discreet wooden cases you can pick up on chewy or also through amazon.

We needed one that did not have a huge foot print but had tall sides. We use it at the house, in the car and on the boat so the nice thick edges make it easy to carry without worry that the edges will break. We have 2 cats. We use two boxes at the house. They accepted this litter box fully. We are very happy with it.

This litter box is advertised as "large". However we found it was way to small for all three of our female cats (10lb, 11lb, 14lb). We had issues with peeing over the side, way more litter scattered everywhere, etc. I know they list dimensions, and we figured it would be fine (especially because we needed something to fit in a small space), but I just don't see how this is a realistic long-term litter box option. And maybe our cats are just spoiled after having really big litter boxes for so long, but it barely seems big enough to turn around in and cover their business.

Purchased 3 of these boxes for our cats and was very impressed with the sturdy construction. Not flimsy and has high walls and therefore able to hold a sufficient amount of cat litter without the fear of the box cracking or litter being kicked out! They're a generous size so even larger cats are able to use these. Overall an excellent purchase and would purchase again!

Always try to get these.so pleased I found it on Amazon. The high sides are excellent saves the litter going everywhere.

We live in a condo in Toronto, which means we really have to work with space in our apartment lol all the other litter boxes were just way to big and this one fit in the corner of our laundry room. I personally don’t like having the litter box in my living room, kitchen or my personal bathroom. This litter box checked off all of our boxes and my cat likes it. It’s nice that it has really high walls on it to keep the litter of coming out but also has a side where it’s low enough for her to go in.

Fits a corner perfectly - very sturdy plastic with high sides and large for larger cat breeds.

Large size is perfect for my little bunny. I bought this because it had smaller space size than most litter trays and really high sides. It’s so much better now that his bottom can’t hang over the edge like with regular litter trays. I didn’t choose a colour but it looks good. Great for rabbits! I would recommend!
