Excellent Brewer
I have experimented with many different pour over drippers. I am able to make the most consistent cup of coffee with this brewer. It is really fun making coffee with the Pulsar.

Best brewer out there. Just buy it and see for yourself…
Have the Hario v60, Kalita Wave, 2 Chemex’s, an Aeropress XL, and this Pulsar. The Pulsar has been my go to brewer ever since I got it. The flavors were clearly more pronounced and the versatility is fantastic. Also simple clean up and use. A must have in the pantheon of home pourovers.

disappointing and far too expensive
quite small, both in diameter and volume. if you have a favorite mug, you need to check that it is less than 9.5 cm wide because this is the diameter of the base of the brewer. Very expensive for what you get. Filters are quality and can be washed and reused. Overall disappointing and not noticeably better than my clever dripper.

Relatively simple. Warning: Course grind only or use very low dose.
Not an every day brewer. But it's great for an on the go or a low dose high extraction recipe. Best to use a course grind to prevent astringency, bitterness and over extraction as that's pretty easy to do with this brewer. Pretty easy to get it pretty close to perfect with practice. And very easy to repeat a certain extraction exactly, so I like it for comparing different beans.

Back to V60 after 3 weeks
Tons of hype on this on youtube and social media but is overblown. Tried it daily for 3 weeks with several different coffees. The materials feel cheap and unsturdy, it was hard to dial in coffee brew times with different grind sizes and I have a good grinder. I am back to my V60 and I doubt I will ever touch this thing again. Massive waste of $60 and I wish I could get a refund.

Great for small batches of coffee
A present for our son. He is a bit of a coffee snob and has a number of brewing options but says this makes the best cup in the morning.

Immersion AND Percolation
This is SUCH a versatile dripper. I love how the spout lets you switch from immersion to percolation, and all 0 bypass. I use this for bold cups of coffee, or to brew loose leaf tea when I'm too caffeinated!
