I've been using a more involved product and the regimen is where I fail. Because this is easy to use, it's much more palatable to use and not neglect. I recommend simple solutions like this.

Still using but it appears to be helping. The soreness dropped enough for me to trim some. Now working on other toenails. Worked better than Ingrown version.

Doesn't take the pain away

The skin around my big toenail is dry, hard and very uncomfortable. Similar feeling like an ingrown toenail. I have been faithfully using this in my nail groove and my pain is gone and the skin around my nails are normal now. I highly recommend!!!

A product I'd used before and used up became unavailable so I started researching the other ingrown toenail products on Amazon and after reading many positive reviews decided on this one. BIG mistake. I didn't even really have an ingrown nail, just some thickened skin that could potentially at some point become one. I used this product twice a day with the goal of softening the built up skin so I could soak and remove it. After the first day there was no change. On the second I noticed some swelling at the corner of my toe but no change in the softening of the skin. By the third or fourth it was hot, red, inflamed and extremely painful with zero change in the texture of the skin. It was so bad I decided to do a full pedicure starting with a warm water Epsom salt soak. When I went to start removing cuticle, at the first bit of pressure on that toenail a pus pocket burst! Now, I'm no nail amateur. I'm not a practicing nail artist but I did go through Cosmetology school and I know nails. I have NEVER had any kind of nail infection. I'm not blaming the infection on this product, but I am saying it did absolutely nothing to soften or break down thickened skin which is the entire point of the product. It certainly didn't help with any pain. It started out a tiny bit sore and in a few days turned excruciating. So this gets a big NO from me. It did absolutely nothing to soften the skin or break it down in any way. It's literally like water. It did NOTHING.

I tried many other products with no results, so I was hesitant to try this because of the cost. But wow, I’m blown away at the results. Finally something that works! It was very easy to use, I love the shape of the applicator and it gave me great results!

Very useful for ingrown toenail. Fairly easy to apply, and no loathsome scent.
