The enfactory LED Desk Lamp with Clamp and Adjustable Gooseneck works well for my needs and am very happy with its features.Good features:- Lightweight and easy to set up and adjust- 2.5 inch clamp allows it to mount on very thick shelves- Highly adjustable neck and lights allowed me to position it perfectly. I have it mounted on a shelf above my monitors so height was not an issue.- Remote allowed me to control the lamp within easy reach- 4 temperature and 4 brightness preset levels are sufficient- Center and end lights can be powered on and off independentlyImprovements:- Having more preset levels for temperature and brightness would have been better- Height adjustment or extension feature would be good for people who stack monitors and have the lamp mounted on a deskOverall I was very impressed with this lamp, and a few more features would have made it perfect.

The enfactory LED desk lamp is marketed primarily to offer directed lighting for a desktop work area. It clamps to desktops (which have an overhang) and extends via a semi-stiff gooseneck cable to the top and/or front of your work area. It has a main lamp situated between two extension lamps, each of which can be directed anywhere that extra light is needed. The two extensions are synchronous with each other and can be turned on and off, brightened or dimmed, or have their color changed separately from the main light. Although the enfactory has controls on the middle lamp, it also comes with a remote control that can be placed in a convenient location. The lamp is bright and, by manipulating the gooseneck and wings, focuses light where it is most needed. The clamp attaches securely to the desk (as long as there is sufficient overhang), and I like that the wing lamps are directional along both the horizontal and vertical planes.All of the above make this a pretty good lamp, but I did have a few issues. The operation of the controls on the lamp itself are far more complex to operate than is warranted by what should be a simple to use desk lamp. Not only are the control buttons black on a black surface, but they are nearly flush with the surface of the bar on which they are located making them hard to see. These buttons should be raised with a lighted symbol on each indicating their function. Fortunately, the remote is much more intuitive to use.Being unable to distinguish colors in the red/green spectrum, I was unable to appreciate the lamps ability to change color temperatures. And, because I have shelving directly behind my computer monitor, I was not able to locate the lamp where it would be maximally useful. I expect this would not be an issue for most users, but be aware that this lamp will probably not work optimally if there is anything behind your computer monitor that can interfere with the placement of the clamp and gooseneck extension.In summary, this is a pretty good product that can direct light on your desk’s work area or to the front of your computer where it can be very useful. But, some simple changes could transform this pretty good product into an exceptional one.
