Compressport Calf R2V2 Calf Compression during sports activity, Calf R2V2 reduces muscle vibrations caused by shock in the calf and reduces lactate build-up. This delays fatigue and muscle injuries. Multi-gradual compression greatly reduces the formation of toxins in the calf muscles, especially on prolonged or repetitive loads, and increases oxygen supply to cool and light muscles and legs. The new K-Protect design on the CALF R2V2 supports the patella tendon and reduces vibration and patella tendon by 8%. Calf R2V2 material is lightweight, quick drying and very durable. Both in the Ironman in Kona, and the UTMB in Chamonix, is the most widely used compression brand. Technology: The Compressport Calf R2V2 supports the muscle and reduces muscle vibrations that occur from impact on each step. Seamless construction allows for multi-gradual compression. - Arnaud Menetier, Scientific Research Manager Material 50% Polyamide, 26% Polyester, 24% Lycra Massage Fibers | D TOX | Recovery | Anti-Fativity | Ultra Light | Shock Absorbing | K-Protect

No scepticism required. They work!
I was always quite sceptical about these, but having used them for about 5 years now, I can testify that they do actually work!I have been prone to calf niggles for a very long time in any case. I then took up rugby refereeing, which really puts your calf muscles to the test. I will typically cover 6k+ during a match, with a mixture of jogging and sprinting, and constantly changing direction. Even though I always warmed up properly and gave my calf muscles a good stretch, they were still a constant injury worry for me.So, I decided to try these. I just wish I had tried them sooner! The sizing is accurate, so make sure that you measure yourself as instructed and order the corresponding size. They give a good level of compression and they grip and stay up well. Mine really get put through their paces during a match and I never have an issue with them slipping down. The key benefit is the after-effect though. I have been so much less injury prone since I have been wearing these regularly. Now I never do any running or even any gym work without them. There are cheaper brands out there, but personally, I wouldn't want to take the chance on them when I know from experience that these Compressport ones work so well. I own several pairs of these now and if you aren't too bothered about which colour you want, then you can sometimes pick these Compressport calf guards up at a very appealing price.I hope you find this helpful.

I wear them for standing all day at work
I find these very useful, I wear them at work as I have to stand up a lot so my legs get tired but these really take the edge off that. Not the conventional use maybe but that's why I bought them. I'd recommend these over compression stockings which often include the feet which makes my feet sweaty and they fall down which these do not. I have quite long legs, these are not quite long enough for my legs but still do the job and as I said, do not fall down unlike other things I've tried for compression.Personally I don't wear them for running but if you have tired legs at work then I definitely recommend them! I'm going to buy some more!

Review
Bought for marathon training. Did the 20 mile weekend training run and felt no ill-effects the following day. Brilliant!Picked the appropriate size per the guide, all good for me. No adjustment required throughout the run, they stayed exactly where I put them. Was recommended this brand by a friend so can't compare to other makes.

Best quality - worth every penny!
People have differing opinions on the validity of compression garments. Not me. I use socks, shorts and these calf guards as for the most part, they make me ache less after running and also they seem to aid me whilst running to feel less fatigued over distance.Don't look at any others as these are totally worth the money!

Excellent compression sleeves!
These compression calf sleeves had first been recommended to me by the guys at my local running shop. These sleeves are excellent! They feel very good for my restless leg syndrome, tight calf like feelings and also really helped to reduce the pain in my lower legs which was part of what kept me up at night. Great for my shin splints, keeping my lower legs warmer in the winter and they've also helped me get back into being able to do interval training on the treadmill!

Absolutely fantastic product. Super compression
Absolutely fantastic product. Super compression. they are super tight like they should be. I personally use them on most of my shorter runs as it also acts as a slight insulation for my legs :)they are super great quality too. They do not budge when wearing them. Highly recommended product!!!!

Good compression
Have been buying these for my daughter for the past 6 years. She uses them when she plays hockey ( 4-5 times a week) and finds the compression perfect. The tubes are perfect as some of the products which are socks have too much nylon in them and causes excessive sweating. They are expensive but last about 3 years before they stretch a bit too much for good compression. Added bonus is they act as rash guards for the shin protectors.
